Hi,

I had a website which I have started in 2017 and have it for 1 years and published around 50 articles it was a review domain where we published reviews.

I want to start a review website again and should I go for that domain or buy another one will it provide any link juice or like it's an expired domain and has got benefits as compared to new fresh domain.

I have attached the two screenshots below.

Kindly check reply

Expired domains are bought because of their backlinks profile, Wayback machine is not a website for checking backlinks, semrush or ahref can give you good insights on that and

Yes expired domains have benefits over new domains if it has good backlink profile.

I check it has around 70-80 backlinks and around 20-30% do-follow i can't able to check much i don't have paid account.

Should I go for it. The domain was vacant from 2018 to till now

Archive is an important step when checking domain history. OP may have brought it in 2017 but what if it was used dodgy years prior, with some of those backlinks.
Check the history on your backlinks is important aswell.
Some sites may be a previous PBN, redirect etc.

@new_don
To do research to determine whether you should continue using it or not

First decide the following things
1. Is the website domain in the same niche you would like, if yes
2. Is the website domain brandable? if yes

Take 10minutes and read @Nargil post in this thread

Thanks a lot for the detailed answer. I was the first and only owner of this domain till now i have already checked.

Yes the domain is niche specific which is reviews.
Yes it is a brandable domain

It has around 70-80 backlinks with 20-30% do-follow backlink profile which is created by myself manually.

I will apply KGR technique.

Hey buddy,

If you created the backlinks yourself, it might not be worth it.

Good aged domains are those which have got natural links from authority websites.

If you want to reap the benefits of faster rankings and traffic, you need to get a strong domain with lots of authority backlinks relevant to your niche.

Expired domains are prefered because of the number of backlinks. Surely, they will help you with the SEO. If you get a new one, you will have to start from scratch.
