Need Help Identifying Previous Instagram Usernames

Hey everyone,
I’m trying to verify the history of an Instagram account that was created in November 2014. The account has changed its username 2 times, but Instagram is no longer showing the actual old usernames — it only displays the number of changes.

If anyone has experience with this or knows a legit method (even paid) to retrieve old IG usernames after the 2024 update removed this feature, please let me know.

Not looking for hacking — just verification/OSINT.

Instagram doesnt show old usernames anymore. Your best bet is checking the Wayback Machine or old posts where they might ve been tagged.
 
To be honest I doubt it is possible. You can try to search some old data, but I'm not sure you will find anything useful. I guess the only way to get this done is to pay some employee to check it directly in Meta internal system.
 
You would need to contact Instagram support to get that. They can provide you with that information after you fill out an application to prove you are are indeed the account holder.
 
Another approach could be looking through any public mentions or screenshots shared online. Sometimes username changes are captured in posts or news articles.
 
You might also try checking old bio links or connected accounts sometimes third party apps or websites that log profiles can give hints about previous usernames.
