need confusing SEO words to impress client

No need to confuse your client, Just explain him that you are best and you can rank his site in timeframe (provide him timeframe) and tell him some strategies you going to use not all but some so he can believe you.

well, he might be informed but still he has a life other than making backlinks by himself. That's why he might give you the order - to spot doing every single shit by himself.
Look at all the BST in BHW. They are bought by the users here, users who are informed and could do everything by themselves. Yet they calculate - "i am able to build 10 links a day, but not 100" - then give them 100.
Or offer them linkbuiling by the price lower than they value their time. Or with a higher quality.
Everything sums up to: you need to have something to offer and there are no words that can replace that.

Why you want to confuse him/her. Start in such a way that it benefit both of you.
Many ways are there like give quality work, you can rank the site or providing lower rate as compared with others.
Hope you understand what I mean to say.

If he is so SEO literate, then I'm sure he must be reading this thread... and laughing at you, OP! :D

If he is knowledgeable then he will probably be able to tell that you are just fluffing everything you are saying. There isn't that much to know when it comes to SEO, granted there are a few areas that are semi complex but if he starts questioning you on recent updates etc you might have problems answering. I would just speak normally and let them choose whether or not to continue to use your services.

We try everything but to confuse customers! It won't get you anywhere in the long run I don't think...

I have a client that knows some SEO. He knows what a backlink is. He knows how to check a website's backlinks and he can tell if it's white hat or blackhat. and he builds some white hat backlinks for himself.

right now I need some big computer/SEO related terms to tell them to make them impressed and confused. why confused you ask? because if they feel confused, they will believe they cant do it themselves and pay me to do it.

can you give me some ideas? some sentences that sound "techy" and confusing?

So i gather that you have no portfolio with sites you have ranked to impress him and now you need confusing 0-o words to trick your client to sign up with you, i petty your prospect.

Honestly mate, you have no business doing SEO for others, it is people like you that give people like me a bad rep.

Speak french then he doesn't understand what your saying and he'll be confused

You do not gt customers by confusing them, you get them by listening to them and answering their questions fully and to their satisfaction.

When I buy a service, I understand exactly what I m getting, or I keep my money.

Most businessmen are the same way.

The biggest reason you do not take your path is that you will not retain them as a customer.

If you do what you're asking for, then your business will head towards the bottom of the ocean, sooner than later. What if your potential client asks you to define those new terms the way he could understand? If he gets pissed off when he understands you screwed his mental peace with some nonsense SEO words, and your inability, for sure, to walk those talks to positive conclusions, then he will run rings around you and your business through various means, legal ones right on the top of the heap. I didn't see you mention he is not local...

ITT: OP doesn't know SEO

Try the third worlder approach:

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword....wait there's even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That's right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at
