Need an android app to develop

I need to develop 2 android app for a specific platform. The platform I need the app for is already have a open API. So don't think it is something that much complicated. The app need to fetch regular update from the website for a specific profile. For example the app is for me. I have a profile in facebook. The app need to fetch the update from my facebook. Say I updated my status on facebook. The android app will fetch that information that I updated a facebook status and will show the app user that I updated a status on the android notification bar. That's it.
