Need Affiliate Hosting Program! well paying, trusting, quality...

as the title says...
I've been thinking of Hostgator (well paying, quality hosting, good reputation, cheap for 1st month). but due to bad comments on their affiliate programs all over the net, im remain undecided.
any1 getting paid good and regularly by an affiliate hosting program?
or any good comments/advice for hostgator affiliate program?

Hostgator Affiliate program is quite good,
Try applying to their affilate program via CommisionJunction you will get extra commission per sale

i heard, they invalidate some of your commissions frequently.

i heard complaints like those from various sources.
i read and know how they validate a commission: refarral should be paying for 2-3 months => then a i get commission.
but still i read some of those complaints about cutting the commission for no trackable/provable reason
i also tried to contract them via hostgator affilate support email.
4 days... no answer. this may due to weekends but, it is tuesday still nothing.
i heard they solve problems about hosting services in hours.
hostgator is exacly what i want, but those things are keeping me away...
any advice/tips how to avoid these cut? is applying to them via CJ reduces these cuts?

Yea,I had problems with hostgator paying me aswell.They didn't want to credit me for some hosting accounts,saying they were canceled,before I checked manually and everything was well.After I confrunted them with proofs,they sent the money,but doing this on a large scale is going to send you in a big loss.
It's better to have your own hosting company...

Host Gator's affiliate program went to shit recently after EIG bought them out; not to say they were amazing back in the day. I've found their affiliate program to always be lacking and I am pretty sure they shave REAL conversions.

i cheked it. it offers $65/signup, not sure if it increases with number of sales per month.
also i didn't find when they pay/payment conditions like: paying # months after sign up.
but the main problem is: the shortest billing cylce is 12month and it cost $83.4, i'm not sure i can get signups wit that price.
They don't have free or cheap trial tough...

stay away from hostgator. Their affiliate really program really sucks

i made approx 130 sale and they paid for 20 only

wow that's alot. did you track your referral? did they stay active/paying regularly/signed to hostgator 1st time?
what is the most common excuse you're getting from affiliate program?
you still affiliating hostgator, didn't you find better?

I am having the same issues with Hostgator, I am promoting their coupons and almost 70% of comissions I got so far became inactive.... there are no reasons... they just say they are invalid...
adding for all that, i started promoting them from the beginning of this year, and they say they will only pay on april.
last time the affiliate manager says "i hope the active ones will remain active by that time"
i will deffinitely flush them in the toilet !!!!
