Need advice about Freelancing

Hello everyone ,

I want to start making money obviously but also to cover my studies ....
anyway
i would like to know how can I get a job like creating a website
or a program or at least do something
am not a very big expert but I know I can do things
I have tried freelancer site but i couldn't get a thing only scammers and people that takes advantage of you
I couldn't work in upwork they tell me your account is similar to many.... made me feel so depressed
I don't know what to do and I don't want to give up
Can anyone advise me or tell me at least if it's worth fighting for
or should I change to something else

I know Html Js and Css

Well
I know HTML/CSS/JS
and am getting real good on C programming
also AHDL used to program cards like altera cyclone III
but am concerned about the ones above

You need to perfect your skills in a certain domain to maintain a good freelancing career
"I know" something isn't enough

Ok
I will try to push it even more further then an intermediate knowledge
but yet
how can I get a job in it

After perfecting your skills, make a website for yourself and promote your skills on different platforms (Freelancing websites are good if you're good enough) and social media (showing off your skills on instagram or so can attract potential clients to you)

try building your portfolio instead of just throwing your projects anywhere and try building contacts

But the thing is that after this also you will have difficulty in finding freelancing jobs in freelancing sites cuase of their system that gives a high advantage to the pro members.
So i would suggest you to make contacts personally

I suggest you look for 3 Non-Governmental Organisations / Charity Organisations or other similar organisations in your city and offer to do their websites for them for free. They will usually be very happy to agree. Those jobs will become part of your portfolio which you should advertise via social media.
Also the members of those charity Organisations will be happy to recommend your service to businesses that will pay you to do websites for them. After your first paid job, advertise it on social media and ask the client to give you recommendations to 5 other businessess. When you have done those jobs, advertise them on social media.

Keep repeating this process and you will getting more jobs.
