Hey guys,

I am a 28 year old Web Designer and I finally came up with a great idea for a website that I know will be successful. Now I know what you are thinking, everybody thinks their site is the next Facebook, right? Well honestly I know that this site will do well if it gets the right TLC. The reason being is that there is only one website of it's kind out there and they are a monopoly in that certain industry. Not only are they the only company out there, but they aren't even located in the USA. So I would be bringing a new website to the table that has excellent customer service from America, not overseas. We will have the same timezones and speak the same language. Also, they have outrageous prices because they know they can charge whatever they want since they are the only guys on the block! So of course we will offer affordable services and undercut these big shots! These are just a few of the pro's regarding this idea.

Of course I am not going to throw my idea out there but if anybody is interested then I will let you sign a non-disclosure agreement and we will talk! We will both make money on this, i guarantee it.

What exactly are you looking for in this JV? Do you need a developer? Marketer?

Your idea is amazing, but you haven't stated what you are expecting from your JV partner?
 
If there is a site like this already, and you don't know how to make this idea happen on you own, what does the NDA protects?

Yes, it is not a unique idea per say but it still is an idea I would not like to be leaked.

Sorry I didnt specify. I need people that can help me in anyway regarding starting up a website. Web designers, developers, marketing, seo, etc.

Be careful, don't sign it just for curiosity.

The thing with NDA's is that you can never invest or work for any company that has something to do with whatever market OP is in, as he can sue you.

That is incorrect. You are talking about a non-compete. A NDA just prevents you publicly sharing the information he has sent you.
