I want to clone wordpress.com but with my own themes, plugins and all of that so that my clients can build their own websites.
The idea here will be that anyone can register and "make a website" for free but I will up-sell domains, use of essential plugins and so on.
Buddypress and a forum setup like simplepress also need to be there - to create the community.
Paypal (or something) integration is a must.
This will be an ongoing job.

I am sure there is more, but as of now, all I have is wordpress installed and set up for MU on subdomains...
I figure before I go further, I should hire an expert.
I am still not entirely sure how it all goes. I just know what I want so PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS HERE so everyone can see.

I usually hire contractors from oDesk, but I thought I would post the opportunity here first for a fellow BHW member to swoop in on.

UPDATES:
Must be willing to talk on Skype: ENGLISH IS MANDATORY.
When replying include: "wp development" in the subject AND some background of your experience and abilities.

As far as I can tell, those actually are built upon wordpress and they are pretty much what I need.

BUMP: Because I added info to the OP that should help people to understand what I am doing...

I thought it's all about enable the network module in WP to support WP Multi Site and use a mass activator to install plugins and themes for the child sites. PM me..

So far I have been using the WPMUDev tutorials. Believe me that none of this should be "beyond me". I am just incredibly busy and don't have the time to do this.
I enabled network support, added some plugins and so on, just to make sure all is well.
Anyone can set up and work WPMU. It's the specifics that I need developed.... like the sites in example.

ALSO: I would like to state that these sites in example show what I need for user registration and all. I would like to start with that. After that, I want to integrate Buddypress and simplepress.

What are those specifics? the payment module?? I would suggest you the membership plugin from wpmu.org.

Actually I checked out their "pro sites" plugin, but I don't know which is best.
As I have come to understand it: they are not really compatible.... maybe like 45% compatible, which in rocket science, will crash your ass into Jupiter.

PM'ed you

I know a great guy who works with WP and Multi-sites who would be good for you to talk to. I tried to PM you, but I not have enough posts yet. If you can PM me, I can give you his details. But just a heads-up, this guy is not cheap.
