Namecheap scam

Namecheap does some very scammy things. Last month I renewed my hosting package and the next day they suspended it without any explanation. They waited until I paid and then just suspended it completely. Messaged them, but they said "No refund".
You havent found anything more reliable than namecheap?

there definitely are more reliable solutions, but i register almost all of my domains with Namecheap and it saves me a lot of time to have one provider for everything. of course, it also makes me more vulnerable.

But you are still a Loyal customer to them, you bought 900 domains from them, Its big.

The same applies to Spaceship (which belongs to NameCheap).
I just tried it after you mentioned here
they have good prices but lack many futures that I need like bulk buying and adding funds to the account

Are you located in any EU country?
If not, this is the problem. You triggered the "Fraud" feature.
And Namecheap is a 3rd party there, so they cannot provide refund.
Who is first party company please list

I really hate it when someone says, "I'm sorry you feel this way." in situations like these. It minimises the actual problem by making it a feeling and not a fact.

OP has 900+ domains registered with Namecheap
OP has 500+ EU domains in his ownership with Namecheap
OP lost $4 because he bought a wrong/restricted EU keyword domain
OP is not guilty

BUT

You see the pattern?
This happens in life all the time.
You help someone once twice, 10 times, then once you can't be there for him.

BOOM, you're a B

Long time ago I've had a domain disabled for more than 48 hours, I was running ads and It costs me some money.

They said sorry and give me 1 year registration for free

namecheap is terrible. 3rd world names in support agents is icing on cake. "sorry you feel this way" after being scammed by a big corp. cant blame them they're just a csr with minimal power.
anyone looking for good registrar i always recommend https://www.namesilo.com/ comes with free whois privacy.

Just got suspended by Spaceship which is also owned by Namecheap... stay away from these companies.

me too, because they are not reality sorry and on top of that they being sorry or not wont fix anything. the money is gone, It feels better if they just be straight and say thats what it is, if you dont like it then move out

Avoid namecheap for buying domains.

I recently registered around 50 domains in one day. 30% of the domains got suspended in 48 hours by Radix. I could get back 6 of them after an appeal

I stopped using their hosting too, poor support and bad servers.

Use wholesale domain registrar instead.

That doesn't seem like a scam to me. They've explained everything to you and how to go about it.

Had it been you provided all the requested information and they still didn't allow you to use the domain, then you can blame them for that.
Just my cents

In my experience, Namecheap is one of the best. I don't however own 900 domains with them. But I think you'll solve the issue, just try again. May be you got a bad agent on the line.

This is my experience with namecheap with this domain
I have more than 900 domains with namecheap and this problem happened only on this domain (happened with another one also before)

So I bought yesterday a domain that have 2 keywords (normal keyword) room and studio with 1 number
When I tried to add the domain to my hosting i got this

Namecheap responsibly tries to reduce Internet fraud. Our work includes partnering with global authorities to identify and prevent the most current abuse patterns. Based on this work, domains that contain certain keywords cannot be automatically added.

Unfortunately, our system has detected that your domain contains one of the keywords that are automatically banned, and therefore, it has blocked its addition to cPanel.

We can whitelist the domain in question for you manually if the corresponding department investigates the case and proves that it is legit. Once it is done, you'll be able to proceed with adding it to the cPanel in question.

I understand that not all uses of domains with these keywords have abusive purposes. Still, to check the possibility of whitelisting the domain, I will need you to answer two questions.

Firstly, could you please share for what purposes you use the domain and any other services connected with it?

Secondly, could you please confirm that you understand the following?

- If the case is proven to be a trademark infringement, you run the risk of hosting account suspension with no possibility of a refund.

It’s a standard procedure for all the domains that are banned in our system. Furthermore, it won’t be possible to check the possibility of whitelisting without your kind cooperation.

so I asked for a refund as it will be too much hustel and won't worth it for that
