The latest Google update seems to target Tumblr as well. They'll go after all competition...Blogger on the other hand is doing just fine.....

You simply just need to stop for a minute and learn from your mistakes. Yes they are random at times (however they are intentionally fishing to see if their suspicions about an account are true most times from what i've seen... as i have had several accounts of mine unbanned after emailing them and contesting... Sometimes they comply sometimes they dont.)
Other times I have literally seen the lost of 20+ accounts go all at once over night (and within days)
in total I have lost over 100 accounts. Earning $150+ and growing a day (which by the way makes me 'lucky' considering how many blogs I have created...)
Point being, it's not about giving up, it's about getting smarter and serious.
You may need a break, you may actual decide to move on for now. Either way, WALK away , don't give up. THERE IS STILL money to be made from it. I know I get paid every friday, monday and on the 1st and 15th from it .
And the best part of it all is it's passive...
How are you monetzing and how many accounts do you have running at a time? Do you use proxies?

Yahoo is getting the exact results they wanted: people complaining and giving up on blackhatworld. When you signed up, you pretty much agreed that they can ban you, and when you try to monetize through spammy CPM networks, you are practically telling them to ban you.

When did getting a lot of traffic on a site become a ban trigger? What is the point of having a site if I'm not allowed to have traffic to it, this is really bullshit, no metter if site is 1 year or 1 day old, the amount of traffic should not be a reason to get a ban. The eccentricity of Tumblr is really starting to piss me off.

I have never been able to monetize Tumblr traffic directly. I have had Adsense ads on my Tumblog, linked to CPA offers, to my own landing pages and to other landing pages at Clickbank. Not even landing pages with freebies work. The only thing I've been using it to lately, is to build Facebook pages. I am able to build tumblogs quicker, and then I can just post an image description with something like: 'Most of our new pics are now posted on FB. Click here and like our page'.
I have conversion from Facebook and Twitter though. :shrug:

I started on Tumblr originally without even thinking about making money off it. Came to this forum, got excited and read more, dreams crushed

Normal people have no problem monetizing their Tumblrs without getting banned.
It's because people on this site are the type with 100's of Tumblrs, using automated methods of posting, with spammy tactics like cloaked links, tons of ad types - that's why they keep getting banned.
If you have a personal site that you update for fun, you won't be banned.

i agree! if you act normal without using those spammy bots, and interact normally with your followers you won't get banned easily!
just keep it normal and then advertise smartly
