Today was image day for me. I created 30 unique, very sexy headers for each of my category landing pages, which was long overdue. Doesn't help me in the least with seo I don't think, but I'm actually trying to build a quality site, and I think this will hold people longer. Rankings wise, more of the same kinds of fluctuations that I've come to expect from google, but a few more encouraging signs. A few of my third tier pages are now in the top 100, and some categories which I'm not even going to try and tackle with support articles until later, have breached the top 200.
I also did some house cleaning and edited quite a few pages, titles, deleted a category which I thought was redundant, discovered some ideas for future categories, and have more of a solid plan on what to write for. This niche is so broad, that sometimes I can get caught in between on where to put certain articles i.e. (does the movie bridesmaids go under comedy or movies for women?). This will probably throw a few of my rankings out of wack as the site readjusts to these edits.
All in all, a productive last two days, but I really need an entire day to myself where I can sit down and write and finish off these landing pages. The creative writing juices don't start flowing until I am about 30 minutes into writing, and then it takes about 45 minutes to write a 1500 word quality article.

Not much new to report today. Wrote another article, also had a click, although they are so rare I'm just going to dismiss it as me accidentally clicking on my ads. Daily visits are still around 20 per day, impressions around 200. I'll have time to write a bunch more tomorrow.
Now I'm freaking out a bit, maybe somebody can tell me if I have something to worry about.
I had 200 impressions a day and was getting around 20 clicks. That has no plummeted, and I am getting 70 impressions a day and 8 clicks. Some key words I am still ranking strongly for, but the number others are now non existent. Is it possible that I got an algo slap? I've got maybe 100 backlinks and I rolled them out slowly, so, any suggestions are welcome

Deleted ones will slowly be removed, thats google cache.
Regarding indexing, On my dashboard says I have 26 sites indexed out of 29, and when i hit google index status it says 0, when i do site:mysite.com I see all my sites indexed. So from there I'm guessing that the stats in GWT are behind.

This is good. Doing something is still better than doing nothing. It is good to start with adsense. As you start getting a lot of traffic, turning to high-paying affiliate programs is the deal
Yeah all but the most recent ones showed when I did that. Still...my rankings have been dropping every day, on all of my keywords. I'm wondering if I've done something to piss google off?

Awesome! Congrats brotha keep it upCould be the deleted post hammering your rankings. My second site is gaining momentum not for the targeted keywords but others which I did not count on. I got it ranked for some Kws in 10 days. No backlinking made
Perhaps it's just your backlinks settling down? When you first get a link posted you may be on first page but over time they move to page 2, etc. Just keep up with linking and especially work with high quality links (don't go the spam route - really not worth it in the long run). A single high quality, relevant link really is worth a hundred spammy links.
I'm taking the different route, without backlinks only quality content and wait for the rankings to settel only then I will do some backlinks if necessary. As i see rankings growing everyday without the backlinks. Hopefully I will get a few natural links in the long run as I think the site deserves it. I did a pinterest board and pining everyday pics from the site and I'm slowly gaining followers naturally so I believe the site will be success in the long run.

Hello everyone! Another day, another update. Most of my rankings have come back, and I've decided to stop paying attention to the rankings because its causing me too much stress. On a positive note, I've getting about one adsense click per day, so that is a positive I suppose.
Very nice. I want to start using pinterest as well, good social signals, backlinks, and traffic. I can't find a good tutorial anywhere though, I'm completely ignorant as to how to work with pinterest

Everything ia back and ranking better than ever. I'm now getting 50 visitors a day to the site.
Wrote three more articles. Site is almost fleshed out. Very excited to see what happens when I start pounding out support articles
