Everything ia back and ranking better than ever. I'm now getting 50 visitors a day to the site.
Wrote three more articles. Site is almost fleshed out. Very excited to see what happens when I start pounding out support articles
Just be sure that you are building links from diverse sources (Web 2.0, video, doc sharing, relevant comments, article directories, etc.). Also, don't focus your anchor text too much on keywords. Especially with a newer site, you should be focusing more on brand and URL anchors (My Site, mysite.com, www.mysite.com, MySite, etc.).
After re-reading your first post it sounds like you are already doing this. Keep it up!
Also, I would highly recommend that you do not pay anyone to send a link package to your site. I've been screwed over by this many times in the past. It can be tempting to buy a link package that appears to have lots of good reviews, but they will often end up ruining a new site. Just my $.02
I have a very similar journey. Im also targeting 27K/exact main keyword. 5 subkeywords ( 12K /exact combined ) and long tails from Articles. Glad to see that you are going strong. Keep working and don't focus on backlinks till you have a good foundation
Best Wishes
Freakin crazy to think about all the content you're doing yourself! I'm always interested in the journeys where the person either does it all manually, or all outsourced. Overall, doesn't seem too blachhatish to me? I'll be keeping an eye on this, GL schmitz!
Another day. 2 more articles and my sites rankings continue to shoot up. My #1 keyword is now ranked #44
I got one 44 cent click
Webmaster tools is showing something interesting. I'm getting hundreds of impressions from a single keyword that I am not ranking for or trying to rank for, no idea how that is happening. The keywords name is "types of hats", lol. I wrote something about hats in the article but not those words specifically, and I've got about 30 longtails of the same phrase. "hat types", "tiipes of hats", "types of hates", so weird.
Webmaster Tools tends to report on things that are inaccurate for some reason. I get that all the time. One of my highest impression keywords for one of my sites is in a similar situation. G Web says I'm getting tons of impressions, but when I look for the page in the search results it is nowhere to be found. Just ignore those random results. Pay more attention to something like Google Analytics or Statcounter if you have them installed.
