To be fair on your mother, she is just being protective of you, which is not stupid at all.
She would want the best for you, even if you two disagree about what the best path there necessarily is.
Yes, she's probably over-reacting a bit, but you've got to realise that she doesn't want you to get hurt/molested/whatever, or go to jail for hacking something.
It's easy to think you know everything when you're 14, but quite frankly you've still got a lot to learn.
Earn some money and you'll get a lot more respect. Start paying your family internet bill or something, you'll find it improves their outlook considerably.
Like someone earlier said, include them a little, so they know you're OK and not getting taken advantage of. Pick a nice, not-so-blackhat example of your work to show them, and then walk them through it so they at least have a vague understanding of wtf you're doing.... Just gotta make sure you don't say something random and send lots of alarm bells off.
You'll find they're a lot happier with things if they have an idea of what you're doing. In the absence of information people tend to assume the worst, so let her in and show her some stuff so she knows it's all good.
