my prayers are with you and your mom buddy. what a way to greet the new year. Think on the bright side buddy, maybe its time for her to get rest so she won't suffer anymore. everything happens for a reason buddy. God knows what is happening down here, so he got a plan for you.

Cancer is a terrible beast, my Mum died from breast cancer 2010 and throughout we tried all we could.

The comfort is knowing that she'll be out of discomfort and that you were there, you'll never feel happy but you'll know you did all you could to make her happy.

Never feel guilty, feel sad, feel low but never guilty because guilt will eat you inside out.

I hope your family and you get through this the best you can.

Really really feel sorry for you .I don't really want to see myself in the situation like this. I think this is the most sorry situation for a son when his mother fighting with Death infront for her eyes and There are not a lot of things he can do. We all hope and Pray she will be recover . As i Muslim, i will send my prayer to her. Insallah, She will be OK. Don't Give hope.

I know the feeling bro....
I lost my mum to cancer in nov 2010,it was the hardest thing i have ever been through,You have to be strong for her and the rest of your family.

My mum's cancer had spread into her bones and then finally into lungs,the last few months of her life was extremely hard for her,but for us to watch that,and see her pain is not anything i can put into words. If you have FAITH then believe that when she leaves its for a better place,this is my faith and belief...that god will give us pain momentarily in this life,which is only a blip in comparison to the eternal peace of the hereafter.

Yes,when a loved one is in this kind of position...sometimes our own selfishness says that i wish they could remain with us longer..we forget the pain of the cancer patient..BE STRONG BROTHER and let nature take its course,have faith and a firm belief in your heart that god does not put burden on a soul more than which they can handle..

I pray for your MUM.
