give it a break and try to post something useful rather than to increase the post count. Too many posts within a short span might be the problem.

Another thing to know is that posts in the lounge are not counted as messages/posts.

neither do mine and i feel like they should
i’ve definitely contributed more than one useful post but telling someone to post something useful is generally subjective
i literally just learned this after reading your post just now so i made sure to double check and read the updated haf/wtb rules by @PetraAnn and nowhere in the text does it say posts in the black hat lounge don’t count towards the 15 post minimum
the section should be updated to reflect that even though i personally don’t agree with it.
i think genuine, good-faith engagement should be rewarded no matter what section you decide to post in imho

The lounge has literally NEVER counted towards post count. It’s not going to change. There’s a reason why, if you think about it objectively. Posts in the lounge typically do not contribute to the main focus of this forum. Making money online.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you’ll have post something useful 15 times.

i mentioned before that i’m basically just here to buy stuff
requiring buyers to contribute actionable content makes no practical sense, i’m not here to teach or offer services, i’m here to spend money.
that’s fine but a more balanced approach should be considered for buyers

You see, there is value in the system. You might not see it right away. Just trust me. I ran a relatively popular forum for a decade. I had the same rules. Eventually you become one of us simply by thinking you’ll get your post count up in the lounge. What really happens is you get to know the place. And you just can’t resist the charm.
My lounge was called “the upper decker,” for context.

i can understand the uncanny-ness after reading everything but i don’t even agree with what op said
i get where staff is coming from with wanting to stop the spam bs, there’s no disagreement on my end with the spirit of the rule
i just think you should be able to reach the criteria for that rule in the lounge as well, especially since the purpose of the rule is to prevent spam and ensure familiarity
parents used to say this and it’s been true in life (even in this situation)

in general, i like buying rare stuff (gaming gear, collectibles, exclusive in game item codes, etc) as for on here, i would say things related to social media, gaming, accounts, digital goods, and freelancer stuff tbh
idk anything about that but, i hope you find success in it when you start 100
