My journey to $8K per month doing traffic arbitrage

I have been reading this forum a lot and found many ways to make money online, but making money on my own site doing traffic arbitrage looked the most promising, especially when considering my goal and time that's probably needed to reach it.

In addition to scanning this forum and reading threads about traffic arbitrage, I got myself a training course. I'm going to follow the course to support myself in case I get stuck, and also learn additional methods.

I will be posting whenever I can, hopefully pretty often, about my updates and what's been done over that period of time.

Day 1.

What I've done so far:
1. Bought aged domain name from auction
2. Got a stable hosting that can hold high volumes of traffic later on
3. Bought and installed theme

My next steps:

1. Configure theme
2. Install & Configure plugins
3. Initial content fill
4. Similarweb & Alexa traffic to boost ranking so I can look more attractive for ad networks - I'll do this while I continue setting up configurations and filling the site with info.
 
Advertise on BHW

UPD: Day 2

1. Most of configurations were done
2. Necessary plugins for now were installed (Analytics etc)
3. Waiting on the test content from a few different providers
 
UPDATE 3

To boost rankings and look better for Ad Networks:

1. Ordered Alexa traffic, waiting for it to kick in
2. Ordered Similarweb traffic

SEO:

3. Bought variety backlinks
4. Social signals, guest posts

Content:

5. Not too happy with copies I received from BHW, either lack of quality or lack of SEO, but I did get a great piece of content from the course guy, a little expensive, though, but I do have some initial content as well as content for the site launch.

Next Steps:

1. Fill site with more content, so it has professional look and doesn’t look empty
2. Install Adsense
3. Buy some paid traffic

The people who are training me gave me contacts to a few networks, going to apply when I fill site with more content
 
The good thing about spending money to learn something is that it forces you to put in the effort. The people who invest the least amount of time and money, especially money when learning something never amount up to anything.

All the best to you. I know that you have it in you to succeed in life, now there's only one thing you need to take care of, and that is DON'T QUIT!!!!

Alexa & similarweb traffic does not go the site and is adsense safe, at least i was told so and I don’t see it in my GA.

for the paid traffic - if you advertise instead of buying bot traffic with no source - you definitely can and its not against adsense TOS

Mind to share the hosting you are using?
 
Remember the days when traffic arbitrage was a rage with adsense and adwords, had raked in quite a few thousand dollars every month using this method before adsense/adwords banned it.
