My journey on making a hentai anime website fully on autopilot

I am going to document my journey on starting a fully automated hentai anime website. The journey has just begun, this is day 1, I have always wanted to start a project and document it for everyone to read.

The website is done in php and has been made in 2days using AI (DeepSeek). It is being hosted on a shared plan together with my other websites, meaning we could say it's technically free. Domain has been registered and costed ~$15. There are currently no ads, but the goal is to place banner ads and pop-ups via ExoClick.

The biggest worry that everyone has with these kinds of project is the costs, especially video hosting. This won't be a worry of mine, because I am going to use Hentai Ocean's free API and their embed videos, meaning cost of video hosting will be $0! The API data will be pulled hourly via a cronjob script.

Goals/Tasks:
Day 1: Submit the website to Google/Bing
Day 1-3: Create some old-fashioned comment backlinks to help rank the website name onto the first page (Shouldnt be hard with this name)
Day 4: Implement ExoClick ads
Day 4-10: Promote website on social media to make it more publically known
Day 10-15: Get more (quality) backlinks done and submit website to free directories
Day 15-30: Promote even more, do link exchange with other websites
Day 30: Achieve $30 in earnings, which will signal this project as a successful growing start
Day 60: Earning more than +$50/mo doing nothing

I will do this without spending money, making the $15 domain my only expense for this project. I want to prove that making profit from a hentai website is still possible in 2026 with low effort and zero maintenance!

As long as the video isn't hosted on my server, they are fine with it. Since it is all embeds from Hentai Ocean, no worries there!
 
I am going to end day 1 with the following progress:

- Website is indexed on Google and Bing
- The domain is a 2word combo. Without space, it shows as #1 result on Google. With space, it currently doesn't show up. I am hoping that the internal link and the quick comment section backlinks will improve this in time.
- ExoClick has approved the website, I am going to add it later when everything is ranked the way I want it.
 
It not much videos on that website, never heard of, total around 500 videos? I don't think its enough.

Good point, there are ~3200 hentais out there. Hentai Ocean has a library of around 500, but it is keeping up with the newest releases and it's the only one I am aware of with an API to embed videos and fetch data such as description and thumbnails. This makes it perfect for a true zero-maintenance autopilot website, since I won't need to worry about broken videos and updating scrapping scripts and switching hentai video hosts in case one starts introducing CORS rules.

Google takes time to show sites. It'll show up as #1 with space after a few days or weeks. You should keep updating content and promoting on social media.

The journey just started, if you mean getting aproved on ExoClick, their team is pretty friendly and work fast, you just have to contact their compliance team in case your website gets rejected.
 
Day 4 starts today. Unfortunately Google didn't start indexing the pages and the website name with a space yet, but that's fine,

I have implemented the display ads, and will implement the pop-ups later, as I dont want it to cause issues with indexing. (Extreme safety measure)

With that said, this is the website data in the past 24h (CloudFlare analytics). Traffic is coming from backlinks, Google and Reddit. I will continue with "backlink advertisement", since social media doesn't like URLs and it requires me to have the name of the website properly indexed.

It's the end of day 4, I noticed that Google has my website finally ranked as top result for the website name with and without space.

I didn't want to make another (short) post, but I thought it's worth mentioning. I will implement the pop-up ads tomorrow, and start promoting it on social media.

Could someone please help me? I'll pay for the work. I'm looking for someone knowledgeable with Exoclick Publisher to assist me (website | traffic) in getting a well-approved and paying account.
 
Today is day 8. Progress is going well, Google is taking a while to index the pages, but when it does, it ranks them up nicely, which is very good for SERP. Today the revenue has increased exponentially, I have earned ~$0.50 in the first 12h.

I have attached stats from ExoClick dashboard for today. I haven't promoted it much due to Christmas season, meaning this was purely SEO.

Earnings: 0.83 € ($0.97)
