I am going to document my journey on starting a fully automated hentai anime website. The journey has just begun, this is day 1, I have always wanted to start a project and document it for everyone to read.
The website is done in php and has been made in 2days using AI (DeepSeek). It is being hosted on a shared plan together with my other websites, meaning we could say it's technically free. Domain has been registered and costed ~$15. There are currently no ads, but the goal is to place banner ads and pop-ups via ExoClick.
The biggest worry that everyone has with these kinds of project is the costs, especially video hosting. This won't be a worry of mine, because I am going to use Hentai Ocean's free API and their embed videos, meaning cost of video hosting will be $0! The API data will be pulled hourly via a cronjob script.
Goals/Tasks:
Day 1: Submit the website to Google/Bing
Day 1-3: Create some old-fashioned comment backlinks to help rank the website name onto the first page (Shouldnt be hard with this name)
Day 4: Implement ExoClick ads
Day 4-10: Promote website on social media to make it more publically known
Day 10-15: Get more (quality) backlinks done and submit website to free directories
Day 15-30: Promote even more, do link exchange with other websites
Day 30: Achieve $30 in earnings, which will signal this project as a successful growing start
Day 60: Earning more than +$50/mo doing nothing
I will do this without spending money, making the $15 domain my only expense for this project. I want to prove that making profit from a hentai website is still possible in 2026 with low effort and zero maintenance!
