My Journey In Dominating Instagram

My name is JACK and this is my first Journey, and kick up the backside to truly dominate on Instagram.

I've dabbled on Instagram previously, and my current flatmate used to be big on it in 2013 (having collectively millions of followers across his accounts). My eyes have been opened by him, these forums and other people crushing Instagram... There is so much potential to be making large amounts of money through this platform and I hope to do the same.

My goal is build several large accounts, and make them dominating brands within their niche. Once I have gained a very loyal and solid following I will then open ecommerce sites on Shopify to start generating $$$. I only care about building a huge following to then convert into the real money through a brand/site - so I am not interested in doing shoutouts, only S4S.

I already have a successful business in a completely unrelated field, so I have money to buy up accounts to then monetize (which I can say I'm truly lucky to be in this position). Also I've had Shopify stores for other projects too - so I'm very familiar with the platform!

I've just bought an account through a vender who was very professional (I will be looking at purchasing more from him in the future).

So I will be starting this Journey with my first account, which is in the pet niche and is currently sitting at 85.6k! The account is naturally growing 500 followers a day currently with the previous owner just posting 2 times a day. I will be posting 6 - 8 times a day to get the momentum going!

I will be updating this journey every day/every few days!

First 3 GOALS

1. Gain 1,000 Followers a day
1. Get to 150k Followers as quick as possible
2. At 150k I will start researching products & starting the process of building the site

$2k - might have overpaid but the engagement is good and I've watched the followers organically increase.

The most liked photo has 12,000 likes and some have 8k-9k too... But in general they average 2 - 4k likes!

Few ideas I've written down so far - but if anyone else has anymore suggestions then send them my way! This is my first time monetizing an Instagram accounts so all help is welcome!

Yeah I would personally buy established accounts, especially ones which are growing very naturally already! Once I have a stable of high quality accounts I can easily start new ones anyway and shout them out to build

I agree, grab some accounts that are already established. It takes a good bit of time to warm up accounts (worth it) but if you can grab some already aged even better.

Day 1 Update!

OK - I've already hit number 1 goal. I'm now on 86,566 followers! This time yesterday the account was on around 84,500. So I've done 1,000 followers in under 24 hours! Maybe I should have set a higher first goal.

I've linked up with a few other accounts in my Niche and should hopefully be doing 3 - 4 S4S per day, and then another 3 - 4 normal posts! This momentum should hopefully be able to get me up to 1,500 followers a day and really skyrocket!

Day 2 Update!

I'm now on 87.9k followers! So I've gained 1,350 followers in the last 24 hours - found 5 accounts in my niche who i'll be doing regular shoutouts with which is helping with the growth!

On target to do 40,000 followers a month. Plan is to open a store in October time which by that time I should definitely have 500,000+ followers which is going to be insanely powerful promoting all my products! I'll also have products up on amazon too as it's a way to get traffic from people who are looking to buy already.

September/October will be a perfect time to launch too with Christmas coming up!

On 89,000 followers so gained 1,100 followers in the last 24 hours - still happy with the growth it was just a bit less then previous days due to not as many S4S.

Absolutely pumped to see how far & quick this account can grow! Started writing down a product list for things I can put on the website, but if anyone has any suggestions then let me know! Must be anything animal related
