good luck, i'm quite interested to see your results when you finish the campaign. though by the sounds of it the site doesn't seem to be that admirable

Looks like my NEW banner got a click. 400 impressions and it got 1 click.

What do you guy think? Should I get rid of the original banner now?
 
I guess it's too soon to decide. Are you able to manage the frequency each banner appear? If so I would let the new banner appear more frequent.

Yea.. Some of these sites say they get a shit ton of traffic but I just dont buy it..> Its gotta be fake.
 
This is disheartening to see as I wanted to try out media buying, I guess the advice can be to never give up and be careful where your spending hard earned money.

No, this is not disheartening. OP just tried one network - buysellads. You can try many other reputed networks like POF, Sitescout etc. Do not get discouraged by this.
 
Wait it's not over yet. He only needs 2 sales to be a gainer...

yea dont let this discourage you. I mean I did ZERO research. You cant just go into something and expect to win without doing research. I just wanted to see what it was all about.

I think what you said makes a lot of sense, looking at the 'supposedly' fake impressions given by buysellads network I think it's better to go for time exposure than impressions on this network - may be an ad placement for 15 or 30 days

I am half way through my campaign. (10k impressions) and I received 11 clicks and ZERO order page impressions.

so that means the new banner you posted is get much clicks than others !!!
I THINK if your banner gets more clicks and didn't get any sales, which means that the product you are trying sell is not that good !!
 
Nice read. When i have looked through BSA the sites just didnt seem to be legit to me so i never used them.

Would like to hear how common getting fake impressions from botnets etc is on BSA sites? It would be a fairly easy scam to run by people, so i guess people do it.
 
Maybe do another new banner too. Dont just stop testing cause one has clicks
