Have you tried approaching businesses and offering your work for free? You can build a name for yourself, ask for referrals and be building your portfolio.

Well.. when you tried every single thing under the sky and still no luck.. a change in attitude would help.. like thinking you already have an abundant life.. is the only way.. you attract what you think :D Maybe life is telling you take a break or learn something completely new.. there are many money making online services that don't require any degrees.. be clever and see where opportunities lead you..

Don’t stop trying. Keep building your upwork profile. Besides, you can also add a few other platforms like freelancer, Fiverr, etc.

I’m a freelance writer. Thus, I only know of writing-centric platforms. I would have given a few if you were one.

Hi juanluis21!!

I'm sorry to hear that you can't find regular work. Just because you can't find regular work doesn't mean you are a failure. Change how you view yourself.

Some good suggestions already shared above.

First ;start by listing your services on here. You will have to pay.

Second; go to https://www.reddit.com/r/forhire/ to apply for some jobs on here and you can also create a 'for hire' post. Make sure to read their rules.

Third; using your website, write some amazing content and distribute it.

Fourth; download this large course shared by WebGenix here:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/get-the-ultimate-freelance-course-michael-janda.1334189/
The course has some good nuggets.

You have to be willing to put in the work.

Also, watch this video about logo design on Fiverr:

Complete your website with 'About', Contact and 'Hire Me' sections. Edit your date too; "- 2016 yourdomain"

Don't give up
in time you will learn how to use your skills
sharpen them every day if you can and you will be in such high demand it gets obnoxious

I just took a look at your website. It looks a bit like it was a template that I have seen elsewhere that was slapped together quickly.
I'm also not a fan of the square jack in the box effect. You click on a picture and suddenly it's really in your face! I think a slideshow
with some nice dissolves might be less jarring and more appealing.

As everyone said above don't ever give up and I think that's what you also want to hear. I know you may be frustrated for not making money or not keeping up with your daily expenses but you also know that giving up is not the option.
Just read through all the comments and you will find various techniques you can implement to increase the sales.
Now please don't ask "how"? Whenever you stop by any question then just search in google and off course google will suggest you better things.
I will suggest also learn basic about SEO skills and start implementing it on your website. There are plenty of resources here which are just a search away. It will surely help you in long run.
Also one of the method you can follow to increase customer base is to give commission to a person who are referring you to new client. Off course it is upto you how you are going to handle and what will be the percentage.
I check the site and it is good. The designs were great but did you research what is currently people want? Like every niche the customer behavior changes so you need to stay updated according to that. Like in the previous days mostly buyer wants the 1-2 banners and then some 15-20 post for fb but now they want the whole 30 days schedule post.
Think about working that way means creating bundle of post for niche wise and then selling to customers as they will also happily pay for it.
Good luck :)

I can understand just keep hustling. Since graphic design seems to be very lucrative and satisfying job. Which has surge a huge competition few years back. Just keep hustling try to find to come on top.

I would like to share something I received today and I thought this is the right place to share.. Hope everyone benefits from it..

What is failure? Failure is my attitude towards the outcome of my efforts. If I don't get the results I want, I can look at it as a learning experience or as a failure. So in reality, there is nothing like failure. It's how I perceive the outcome to be.

I have to detach and talk myself out of it. Have a conversation with the mind, talk to it about the lessons I have learned, and most important, Believe that you can start again, and this time it will be with more experience. Also, have Faith that everything happens for a Higher reason.

Change in attitude is the key

Everyone is really helping me guys. Thank you so much!

Well, first of all, don't call yourself a failure. That's the first step.

Because the moment you label yourself something is the moment it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

This is why people who are called idiots or losers by their parents live up to those names eventually.

So be careful of the messaging you tell yourself.

The second thing I can tell you is a little bit of specialization can go a long way.

When you go to Upwork or Facebook groups, pay close attention to the kind of graphics work people are looking for.

If you notice that certain types of graphics work get a lot more attention than others and people are willing to pay more money for that type of work, specialize in that.

By "specialize," I'm not just talking about you telling people: "Yeah, I know how to do that."

No! That's not enough. You're going to have to create a portfolio.

As much as possible, offer your services at least in the beginning for free.

Why?

Your customer is paying for your education.

When they ask for a specialized graphic, and you ask them for instructions on how to do that, they're doing you a favor. It's like they're putting money in your pocket.

So don't worry about not getting paid. Instead, worry about what you're getting.

Once you do that several dozen times, you should be specialized enough, and to prove it, you have a portfolio.

And once you start bidding on higher price graphics projects, you have an increased chance of achieving success.

You are not a loser. You are a future winner.

And many times, failure is just success in disguise.

So use this opportunity where you have more time than money to your advantage.

Invest in yourself by taking free jobs coming up with a solid portfolio, and asking many questions.

Learn from your customers. They can teach you better than your actual professors.
