For adult niche, I suggest you go for revenue sharing prorgam with direct advertiser. The long term payout is significantly better. CPL is not going to work out well if your traffic don't turn into sales. As the network will hold your payment or suspend your account eventually.

Agree with this. So any suggestion for kind this revenue sharing site..

Thanks

How long will you wait before you cut your losses, in chase that the price drops further?
I am currently in a flat position, waiting for the market to recover.

OP are you sure you wanna cutloss 30% on altcoins too? Altough I know you have a trader approach I think is not very wise...at least if you think there will be a BTC rebound at 7.5-8.2k (like I think too)

Idk how abt OP but I wont cut anything, hero or zero!

It will go even lower.

You got that right... Currently sitting @ $8406.06 for 3:22 EST 2/1/2018

My advice is if you can afford it, now is the time to buy - but as always, don't invest what you cannot afford to lose!

It's not impossible that BTC goes down to $2000

I could not agree with you more... however I am confident that with analyzing past trends in this type of volatility with BTC, we have more or less seen it come out stronger & more bullish than ever after the end of these scary drops off the mountain tops of BTC $15-19k :P

But you are right, We could see BTC $2k by tmrw and this is why you never invest what ya cant afford to lose... i bet these crypto gurus out here betting their entire ship on crypto are having a little trouble sleeping right now... ESPECIALLY the huge new wave since middle of last year of new, non-tech investors into BTC>

Never reach into a falling knife!

Past performance is not indicitive of future performance.

Unless you are the NY Yankees - expect a World Series Title.

Every year.

You only lose if you sell.... Take a couple days off and not look at prices. We will re bound.

Again I could not agree with you more... However it does provide a fairly defined vantage from which you can gain a sense of what these bubbles have acted like in the past... I have recognized more than a handful of trends which either lend to a huge rise in the price or a giant fall... I would say you are 100% right if we were discussing traditional stocks, etc. However crypto is its own unique framework & the price is not regulated the same as traditional markets individuals can invest in... So i like to keep a close eye on similar patterns from a wide range of date selections - It has helped me out allot and so far served me well enough in the capacity that I am still in the positive side of my ROI for crypto and not the negative :)

What if the whole cryptomarket crash at -90% and take 20 months to come back at the same as today?
What happens if within these 20 months a new generation of coin come and make all the other obsolete? Meaning most of the today coins will never ever recover.

Everything can happen and no one knows the future

My honest opinion as a trader. Cut loss is part and parcel of the game. If you are not prepared to lose then don't trade. Nothing goes up forever. As trader capital preservation is the number 1 priority at all time. If I lose 30% and if market recovers, I can easily make back the losses. However if the market goes down further I will have to sit with my hand tied and not able to purchase other opportunities at reduced pricing.

I do not view crypto as an investment since it does not produce revenue stream for me. I am not gambling here so I won't want my capital to go down to zero. As the saying goes, live to fight another day. This is why it is important to ask yourself if you are investing or trading. Do not confuse the two as both behave differently in market downturn.

What if the price do not rebound and drop further? ( I am quoting an assumption not a fact) What is your backup plan when this happen? Regardless if you are trading or investing you always need capital on hand.

I have cut loss on all position currently. If there is rebound I would get into the game again. But if there is a further drop it will mean that my remaining capital can be put to better use.

Yes I understand that.
My observation was about:

if BTC go -20% majority of alts goes -40%

So If you forecast a -20% on BTC is not wise, IMHO, put a cutloss at 30% on alts since it will surely kick in

Your observation is certainly correct with regards to alts dropping more than BTC since all alts are pegged to BTC. So there is a double whammy effect when BTC drops along with drop in alts.

So how you doing now?

By my reckoning you're down between 30% and 50% on the coins above since last Thursday - not even 1 week.

At the numbers in Dollars that's about -$105K in 5 days.

Have you sold them all?
