The past week has been strange, to say the least. No orders on my amazon affiliate link but currently I'm trying to get more organic traffic and rank on my keywords. I've been building great links so that'll help. I received 180 users in 1 day and IDK how, they weren't bots as there were some outbound link interactions and decent site time, but I won't complain.

UPDATE 07/09/2019
FIRST ORDERSS!!!
As I was doing my daily morning check on analytics and how the site was doing, I logged into my Amazon Associates account and stumbled upon this:
A sight for sore eyes. And looking further on and seeing what items they ordered, I realised that they had ordered the exact item I had reviewed. This is great to see as it has barely been a month since I started this site and I already received my first order.
As you can see, one of the items was ordered through the product link and they also ordered some more items. I believe I should get around $20 from this as the item was fairly expensive.
I'm going to start writing more product reviews on the site as I only have 3 and only one is targeting the right keywords. I'm also just going to try and rank above all the manufacturer websites as most of these are fairly low competition, and if I rank above them I'm sure I could snag some purchases.
I received around 5-10 users from Pinterest ( my account is at 4k followers ) and 10 or so organic users. The rest were either bots or myself, or one or two users from Instagram. This is still good to see as my organic traffic is growing and I have started ranking well.
The organic traffic has been growing and it should start growing more exponentially soon. I've been doing my own link building and this has helped significantly.
I've only written about 2 posts since the last update, the most recent one has not ranked yet but the first one is at rank 20-30 for quite a high search volume keyword. I'm going to be writing 1-2 posts every week as I'm really busy most days. Seeing the first orders have motivated me and hopefully I'll see some more!

3rd Month Update

Amazon Daily Traffic: 0-1 Users
This month was not that bad considering that I didn't write any posts. I had been very busy and therefore was not able to get any posts written. For the next month, I have begun to plan some posts and will hopefully publish 4 posts. Yesterday I received another order for an item worth $100, so I'll probably get $4-5 on that purchase. Sadly, my previous amazon affiliate account was disabled as I forgot to add my site, and instead added my previous site which I had abandoned. I've contacted them and they will stay pay me my $32 from previously. All the money which I earn from the site will go back into the site, and I probably start buying some articles this month.
I've started another site for which I have 10 articles already waiting to be posted. I'll begin to update you on that site once I start working on it properly.

4th Month Update

A very nice thing to see was that I received more orders Soon I'll hopefully get my third order on the new associate account and then I will be fully accepted, unlike last time
Sadly I was somehow hacked, I still don't have a clue how, and so for a week or so my whole website was down. Luckily I had many backups of the site so I didn't lose any posts, but it did mess up the whole week for me.

The bounce rate has increased but I'm sure I'll be able to pull it back into a stable region.

The amount of organic traffic is slowly but steadily increasing, I've started to build some quality backlinks to the site and I think that this should help me greatly.
I sort of lost myself and went on a site speed up tangent, and I improved my speed from utter shit, to quite a nice speed.
Whilst I was going through the period where my site had been hacked, I realized that I did not like my hosting provider anymore, and will be switching before the next update. I think that I can spend up to $20 a month on hosting, which should get me some very nice options.
In terms of content writing, I'll be pumping out 1-2 posts a week hopefully, with the help of a very nice person
I've been ranking just below amazon for most of my keywords, and in some cases rank above amazon for the direct product name. I haven't been writing any "Best Product List" and have only been writing single reviews, as it seems more legitimate and personal.
The whole point of making this website was to earn a semi-passive income, but after looking at my competitors who have been writing low-quality articles and just getting people to click on their links, I think that my mindset has changed into trying to help the consumer and not just focusing on the income.
If half of this update did not make any sense, it's because I'm half asleep
