Another good day, 2 more orders than yesterday, a bit less work. It seems like people are more trusting to click my links now that I've been more active. Some of the previous 2 days orders were finally shipped but I only made 3.36 out of it, as most of my links aren't directly to the product, and are just to a broad search term, I'll be moving onto direct product linking soon enough.

I've always been reticent to post Amazon links on social or YouTube because I read they ban accounts for this, since they want good content now ,not just throwing links here and there.
So I am redirecting all my links to my website first, and then automatically redirect to Amazon from my site, to stay safe. But it's a lot of extra work.
I will check your thread in 6 months or so, to see if you're banned or not from Amazon lol (of course not wishing you this bro)

I believe that I'm not going against the rules as most of the time I link to my Influencer Storefront, which is made for social media, and they can see that traffic is being sent to that link, in cases where I have been posting the direct link to a search term, Its been either in a separate post on my actual page or a list made on my influencer page.
If you do sign up for an influencer page, you should get accepted as long as you follow the guidelines. I got accepted within a day. (See below)

Ok if you're an influencer it should be fine with Amazon, moreover you send your visitor to your store first so it's safer.
But for people who are not influencers or don't have stores, and just throw their Amazon affiliate link here and there on fb or yt it seems very risky to me.
Amazon want their products to appear on quality content, not spam.

I had an affiliate account before where I would just make a google slides video and publish it to FB and YT with direct links and amazon didn't seem to mind, I got paid what I was due. Its very easy to get into the influencer program though, as you only need 5000 followers on instagram and like 10 posts with a bit of engagement. I just bought 5k followers for 30 cents on a cheap smm and some comments and likes for a dollar, so really the initial investment was $1.30. You can do this just to ensure you wont get banned but I believe if you do it right you won't get banned

The way that I am getting visitors is through social media platforms, not my own website. I've currently had some posts on reddit get a lot of traction so that got me some hits, but Facebook has brought in the most currently. I'll be updating every day, todays update will be on the day prior, as I only get the full details at Midnight BST.

Though I don't use instagram for this anymore, you would do it by making an instagram post and having your influencer link in the description.

Join niche related groups on social media, then share your articles regularly.
Just do SEO for your main keyword side by side.
Is your keyword is low competitive and average product price is $50 above right?
How many keywords you are targetting and how many of them ranking on top.

I'm going to start working on making an authority site for a niche I have selected, I don't have that much knowledge in this field but know SEO and how to make a good website ( I've been a web developer for 4 years ). So hopefully this knowledge helps me out.
Why?
I am changing up my approach because I have realised that the amount of effort I am putting in, and the end result, is not worth it. I have to non stop talk to people for 1 hour if I want to make minimum wage, and as a side income, it doesn't help.
