Everyone, my account was permanently disabled a few days ago after appeal for violating Instagrams terms of service regarding “Community Standards on sexualization of children.”

For the record, this accusation is 100% false. I have NEVER done anything like that and it is totally outrageous and slanderous that Instagram’s enforcement AI accused me of this. No warning, no restrictions, just instant suspension in the middle of the night and near instant denial of my appeal the next morning (no ID requested).

I have been sending Instagram emails every few days with no success.

I also made a new account but that seems to be getting restricted “daily” even though it always gets immediately unrestricted after providing photo ID.

I’m considering reporting a “technical issue” on my new account to see if I can get someone to look at it. Likely my new account will be toast since I guess it’s against terms to make a new account after a suspension (didn’t know that when I made the new account and probably why it’s getting restricted). But my hope is that someone on the other end will actually look at my old account. Any human looking at it would immediately realize a mistake.

Anyone think this is worth a shot?

I’m willing to try anything at this point (except give anyone other than my lawyer money for a demand letter).

Thanks for reading.

Are you using same device and which IP? footprints of previous account lead to create problems for your new account.

There are some services that help recover banned accounts. Check the the forum marketplace.

some footprint of yours is getting flagged. looks similar to other bad actors. get yourself a mobile proxy , protect anti-detect browser, correct fingerprint and behave like a human as much as possible, maybe add a few friends and make a post etc.

That’s rough, Instagram’s system can be brutal and unfair. Reporting a “technical issue” might help get a real person to review your case. Keep appealing calmly and don’t waste time with shady services. If you can, a lawyer is your best bet, but keep pushing through official channels.

I use three accounts on the same device. I will check if the other accounts are the reason I was banned.

Tough situation. Reporting a “technical issue” could get a real person to review your case definitely worth trying. Avoid making new accounts for now since they get flagged fast. Stay professional and keep pushing through official support channels. Persistence is key.
I reported a 'technical issue' and hope they will help me sort it out. I think the reason they restricted my activity is that I created a new account right after my old one was banned.

Can you suggest any anti-detection browsers you know of?

I've filed an appeal, and I hope they will lift the ban for me

I hope the ban on your account gets lifted. Its sad, lots of creators and business owners are facing same issue of unfair banning and i can assure it is not done by human, it is bot and sometimes it is as a result of a glitch but unfortunately, despite how big meta is, they seems to not have a functioning support team that can cater for customer's issue

Yep.. Instagram’s automated bans are brutal and often unfair. Reporting a “technical issue” might help, but chances are low without legal action or public pressure. New accounts get flagged fast. A lawyer’s formal letter is likely your best shot. Otherwise, it’s tough to get them to reconsider.

Instagram often locks accounts due to bots and system errors, not humans, so many creators are wrongly punished. Be patient and appeal through official channels.

Try reporting a “technical issue” calmly it might get a real person to review your case. Avoid linking accounts by IP/device. Document everything and don’t pay anyone for help. Staying persistent with official channels is key.

Instagram’s automated bans can be brutal and unfair. Keep appealing but diversify your approach reach out via Facebook Business support, Instagram Creator Studio, or even Twitter support handles. Don’t create multiple accounts; it flags you more. Reporting a “technical issue” can sometimes trigger a manual review, so it’s worth trying. Document everything carefully. Realistically, human review is rare, but persistence sometimes pays off. If you lose significant income, legal advice might help, but don’t waste money on quick fixes or shady services. Stay patient and methodical.

You could contact Meta support via ads Manager if you ever ran ads- they often respond faster.
