Must-Have Plugins For Your WordPress Site In 2020

Plugins play a vital role in WordPress. However, installing a lot many plugins the same create an adverse effect on your site.

What are some essential and must-have plugins for a website! Here is my list, you tell yours...

1- SEO By Yoast Premium- for SEO, of course.
2- Jetpack- for it's traffic analysis and referral feauture
3- SEO Friendly Images- name says it all
4- Shortpixel- to compress images
5- WP Rocket- Caching
6- Broken Link Checker- to check and fix the broken links and create redirects
7- Disqus- for comments
8- WP-Optimize- Cleaning is important

-WProcket
-Easy theme & plugin upgrades
Every site I made, has different take on plugins based on the site. Dunno i just feel like using same plugin is boring and lacked behind, jetpack then, now yandex, another next. But there's that one plugin which never missed a site of mine : Hello Dolly

Yandex instead of Jetpack? are you sure?
 
Rank math for seo. Because Yoast seo have had some issues with its last updates. I have heard is broken.

What do you mean? Yeah, I use yandex on some of my sites. Stopped using jetpeck because of image and minifying issues caused by it. And that's around me, might be different scenario with somebody else.
 
Jetpack is somewhat heavy plugin.

Redirection to automatically create redirect for changing post url.

Kind of the last Plugins I install on new WP installations, but for speeding things up they do an excellent job:

W3 Total Cache
a3 Lazy Load
 
Mine:
Rankmath for SEO (also thinking about Smartcrawl Pro)
Wordfence for Security
Elementor Pro (and elementor extensions like elementskit and essentialAddons depending on the needs)
WPRocket or Hummingbird for performance
 
I use Loginizer to prevent brute force on admin login page. wordfence is also a good alternative
