Musicians/Artists promotion guide

Could you please recommend some good reads/software/tutorials for musicians/artists online promotion? I am working with a lot of talented people, as I own a mini record label, but I need your advice on what would be the most efficient ways to promote an artist.

Best way is troughs Social media reason they need much explorer you also can in local communities forum.

It really depends on what you want to do and work out. For example, I can push artists and musicians online through youtube or through facebook or I could simply advertise the crap out of them over a mobile network. It really does depend on what I want to accomplish with that artist, whether we want to build up authority or we want to drive sales directly.

Artist awareness would be the first step, monetizing come after that.
