Friendly tip not to let your hard-earned Wikipedia link juice go to waste.
There are many wikipedia 'mirrors' out there that will pass on some precious juice if you can manage to get the articles you are listed in indexed in Google.
Step 1:
search your domain in Wikipeida's link search engine: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?target=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.blackhatworld.com&title=Special%3ALinkSearch
Be sure to search all 4 versions of your site [http/https/http-www/https-www]!!!
Step 2:
For each article/talk/page that links to your site 'ping' each one of the following URLs replacing BlackHatWorld your article's name. Checking the URL will cause the mirror site to download/cache the wikipedia article and decrease response time for when Google/Bing visits the page. All of the below mirror sites support articles, but only some support talk and other pages. To avoid wasting resources, note down only the pages that respond with a HTTP 200 code. Some mirrors use a dash or space in place of where wikipedia uses underscores, so if it isn't a one-word article name, you may want to play around with the URL.
Step 3:
Submit the valid mirror URLs via your favorite link indexer (gindex.me/speed-links/etc)
Step 4:
watch the mirrors trickle into your Google Search Console -> Latest Links & share your comments below!
This list of mirrors was found by me manually searching quotes from wikipeida combined with the inurl:wiki term. I'm sure there are many more wikipeida mirror sites out there so please add a comment if you find additional mirrors.
