Hi, i was wondering if there is a possibility to make wordpress woocommerce site to be translated into multiple languages, using additional info in url to get more indexed products in google merchant center which would result into more traffic.
For example mystore.com - store which has 1000 products now gets additional plugin which translates every page and product to new language. In this case new product would have url mystore.com/de/produt-id.
In this case gogol would think that there is a second product, which would be only indexed in German speaking country.

Is it possible to achive this? If so can someone recommend me a solution to this?

Yes, it is possible to translate your WooCommerce site into multiple languages and use different URLs for each language. You can achieve this using plugins like WPML or Polylang, which create separate URLs for each translated page (e.g., mystore.com/de/product-id).

For Google Merchant Center, this method can help target different regions, but Google may not index the translated versions as separate products unless they have unique content, descriptions, or pricing. Make sure to use hreflang tags to indicate language versions properly.

If you want a recommended solution, WPML is a popular choice for multilingual WooCommerce stores.

For WooCommerce, WPML is solid, but if you want something lightweight, Polylang or TranslatePress might work too. Just make sure whatever you use generates unique URLs and lets you set hreflang tags correctly.

That's an interesting angle for boosting visibility! Have you considered whether Google might see those translated pages as duplicate content though?

TranslatePress meets your requirements and can generate a new URL for each product in each language. Try it!
