In short - fingerprinting. They track and analyze your behaviour, device and network connection data. Whenever something seems fishy - your account's trust value goes down. When it goes down too much - you get locked and/or asked to complete some kind of checkpoint.
Use antidetect browsers like Multilogin/Kameleo/Incogniton, etc. and good proxies. If you use automation tools, make sure they have some anti-fingerprinting measures implemented. BAS/Zennoposter bots do it well to some extent.
