Moving to europe advise.

Stay away from Eastern Europe, that is just Venezuela with a colder climate. Come up north to Scandinavia! Sure, taxes are a hella downer, but shit works here. 1gbit up and down for $60/month.

So the financial institutions are openly encouraging tax evasion in Bulgaria? I find that really hard to believe.
Then you probably never lived in eastern europe. They are maybe not encouraging, but no one will check your online income.

Online vs offline doesn't matter if its coming into a bank account it can be checked, and how long do you think people can get away with it as those countries increase their law enforcement capabilities and work more with the EU?

Also, don't forget your bulletproof vest! It's raining bombs and bullets lately...Last victim Brussels, who's next?

i would suggest norway because they offer free college degrees to all foreigners

It really depends on what you want to do and how much money you are raking in from IM right now. If you want to work a 9-to-5, move to a rich country with a high standard of living, so you will be able to get a high salary and have a nice life. If you want to work online or freelance, move to a cheaper country where you will be able to buy more stuff with your internet dollars and have cheaper rent and food, so your profit margin is larger. Eastern Europe would be a good idea in that case.

If you have a Portuguese passport, you should get a Portuguese citizenship and then you can live wherever you want in the EU. Unless you have the citizenship already, then just choose. Portugal is not a bad option anyway.

Guess what I read couple of days ago! In the near future the banks will be forced by the law to give all your income data to tax service at the end of each year, can't remember where I read it, perhaps on Klix... I hope it's not true.

Better not to risk because because if you earn 15k$+ monthly in such a poor country you wont be flying under radar so easily.
Payoneer all the way :D

Scary to think about.

Like the others have mentioned, spain would be the easiest to adjust to based on the similar language. Might be a weird suggestion but check out thailand. You can live like a king for next to nothing. Thinking about leaving canada and teaching english there for a year.

Most of europe does not sound much better than where you are now...

Why not consider a more upmarket south american country? Panama, brazil, mexico... or even jump the boarder into the USA if you think you can stump the trump when he gets made king.

It's not so hard to beat venezuela, only gas price is low, like 0.4$ per gallon, but wages are so low no one can afford car.

So Europe or any other country like US Canada would be better option.

Europe would be great if you have Port. passport.

I would recommend Croatia.

I recommend you Portugal, Scandinavia (especially Norway) or maybe Eastern Europe, though Eastern Europe is politically a bit unstable throughout history. Poland is quite nice and I could recommend that, though its tough for a foreigner. Maybe Austria, but not in the big cities.

Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Italy etc. You won't be happy there and it looks like things are going to become very ugly there. Also some people's argument it would be safe there and the income is higher are just short-sighted. First with all those "religious" (rather political) motivated immigrants and then the population against them, it is not safe there at all anymore. Second income may be higher, but living costs are much higher! You can't afford a good life with the medium income in those countries.

Regards

Bulgarian here - and love my country :) Used to live in South Africa, Dubai - but nothing beats the old bg feel :) If OP makes IM money - Eastern Europe is the best place - cheap life

just a few days ago some guy from Egypt came in because he got a job in our oil industry, he probably took out his money on the airport or something and some bad guy saw it and called his friends, they were waiting outside, and once he came out they tried to rob him, he resisted and they shot him dead. Shot dead outside our international airport, at the doors

Wouldn't worry about that mate, you get blown up inside the airport here

RELIGIOUS? Where are you from ? Have you watched the news today? Politically unstable ?

These hysterics over terrorists are pretty funny with perspective. Here we have a guy who likely lives off less than people ITT tip their waitress, stuck where bombings and mass shootings are integral to the largest part of South American economy, getting lectured on the dangerous warzone that is Europe.

I won't even tell OP to ignore it, he'll be rolling his eyes so hard he may damage his optic nerves.

I am living in Serbia for 12 years and I love it here. Great people, great country. Wages might not be as high as many western European countries but living is relatively cheap here. As a foreigner I don't pay taxes from IM income. Everybody speaks English here so you will not have communication problems. I think Bosnia and Croatia is similar. Lived in a few western European countries but Serbia is far better for me.

They won't encourage you and they will gladly take the money for you, but they won't be bothered to check your bank account for not paying your tax if the sum isn't big. You won't get on their radar if you don't go there asking whether or not you should pay taxes on IM.
Basically, SkyRocketSEO is right :) Our country increases it's law enforcement capabilities but it's light years behind the standards of EU. They won't be checking online income in the next 10 years.

P.S: 15$ Internet and i'm downloading with 10mbps which is super for meh :)
