    Greetings gentlemen,

I'm a total newbie here in the world of BHW and IM. But one thing I know for sure, is that CPA is the way to go (atleast my way). However, although after spending more than 3 days trying to get the hang of it, I still have no idea where to start building. Don't get me wrong, I have no intentionally of making 10k after one week, but if I'm gonna learn, I will have to start somewhere. If you don't mind, here are some of the question that hopefully will get answered :D I believe that there are many people out there who will have the same questions as me, and also people who will have the ability to answer those question :)

(Props to this thread first, great post: "The NOOBZ Guide to CPA Riches.. Stop Thinking - Start Doing!") (can't put link yet)

So, I basically understand CPA as follows:

    1. What is CPA ?
    • Cost-per-action, you get paid when people do something after clicking on your affiliate link, whether it's filling in an email, or buy a pony. The higher the payout, the harder the conversion.
    2. What are the steps to get start ?
    • Finding your niche --> Okay I'm not an native English speaker so I had no idea what this word means in the first place. But after reading about it, I believe what you have to do is to pick some "topic" that you can understand and work on, the more you know about it the more competitive you are. But, my question is:
      • How do you effectively pick your niche, if it's just can be "anything" ?
      • What's an example of a niche ? Is "gaming" a too-broad niche ? Is "psychology" a too-weird niche ?
      • If I have an offer page when people have to complete to download a file (more question on this later), then that file could be about anything --> What is the niche here ?
      • Similar question but if I have a page that encourage people to submit their email, then the niche is what that page is about ? So I guess emails of the people interested in "cooking" will be more valuable to a food company than emails of people interested in "BAN ALL FOODS" ?
    • So after you have your niches in mind, times to search out the offers, and it gets even more complicated --> I had no experience with affiliate network and CPA so seeking out the appropriate network out of nowhere is virtually impossible:
      • What are the ways to find good offers ? Do you have to visit every network available and decide for yourself if it's good enough ? Where can I find discussion of BHW's community about a particular network (I mean if there is a section for it, besides using the Search button)
      • In the thread above "offervault.com" is mentioned, but I still can't figure out how it works, the results are too complicated and too many (atleast for a noob)
      • So, "CPD" - download ?, "CPE" - email ?, "CPC" - clicks ?, "CPM" - impressions ?, "CPS" - no idea ?, "Incent Non-incent" (???), "WEB/WAP", "Exclusive" are only some of the keywords I found on the offers --> What do they stand for and what do they mean ?
      • So for example, if a file that I can encourage people to download, then I put that file on an offer page (experienced this myself) where people have to complete some surveys to 'unlock' it, how do I find the network that offer these services, do I just look for "offer completion CPA" ? Also, those pages where they show the offers, are they just showing different CPA offers or the survey-picking-then-completing is a CPA offer itself.
      • About joining the networks, do you have to have a traffic source in advance to join or it just depends on the network ?
    • Third step, building your site --> I have decent knowledge and skills in web designing the setting up isn't a problem to me. The problem is, however, what you put on the page. I imagine the way it works is you have a blog, then you write about your niche, then you put your link wherever possible, then you promote your blog, but it doesn't seem right comparing to what I've read here on BHW:
      • What kind of content you put on the page ? Is it just normal posts about anything you would want to write about, then somewhere relevant you put your link in ?
      • Many guides I read mention putting about 3-5 posts that have real contents, then 1 post to embed your affiliate links in, then promote that post. How will this works, I think the conversion rates will be really low this way ?
      • It will great if I can be directed to some of the example page ?
    • Next step, driving traffic --> I don't think I have any problem with this part because I had experience driving traffics to my mobile game before. However, in the offers, I see some mention countries code like "US" or "FI", does this mean only traffic from that country is accepted ?
    • PROFIT ! --> I'm totally looking forward to this
That's it, just added to my BHW bucket list is to one day write a guide that is as long as this question :D

    TL;DR version
What are some example CPA landing page that I can see ?

Thank you for spending time reading everything or just anything, and thank you more for any help :)

This is really helpful, thanks. So for every niche you just have 1 site with the only goal of making people click that button like this ? At the last step where they asked me to choose one offer and complete it to "verify I'm human", those offers are from different CPA networks right ? And those offers are nothing related to Clash of Clans, so how do I know to look for those offers in the first place without basing it on my niche ?

Be creative mate. There is no rule that applies to every site.

For gaming hacks and such that format is very common. Also sales pages for ebooks or training videos also use that same format. Sales pitch -> callto action -> sales pitch -> call to action -> are you still here? -> call to action -> shit you have time on your hands -> call to action -> buy it already

So if I'm gonna get started, I will just have to try out lots of different networks right ? Also I see that networks have tiers (tier 1 tier 2), I know this is related to the traffic but in what way ?

    Thanks once again.
