Internet Marketing IS about making money, MORE of it for most of us.

MORE happiness may come along with it, but, as a list of lottery winners who either committed suicide or wound up worse than before they won, shows us...having more money DOESN'T mean more happiness, right?

I like to think you can have both, without ill effects. Many choose PASSION over income, and that is good for them. Others choose grind and effort in pursuit of both more money and a time somewhere down the line, where they will be happy.

Recently, a young guy posted about how he could get his LAMBO, I guess he believes he would really be successful and HAPPY once he owned it.

Making money is relatively easy, once you know how. BEING happy, may not be so easy, no matter what income level you are at.

What do you all think? Do you believe more money is going to bring with it more happiness? I especially would like to hear from newbies and beginners, those who have not yet conquered the whole money making thing.

Thanks,

Do you believe more money is going to bring with it more happiness?

It's relative. If you are already happy it is most likely it's going to bring more happiness but depends also on the person since for some it won't matter.

For some who are unhappy it can work also different ways: some will get more happiness once they have more money. Not per se because they can buy luxury items but maybe finally improve their life or an aspect what made them unhappy in the first place.

For others (the most) it won't change anything about their feelings. Being happy comes from within. :)

Some love money and Some don't.

95% people's mindset is pay cheque to pay cheque aka 9-5.

Majority of the society's mindset is middle class money + maximum amount of free time possible.

People are happy in their own ways. Not everyone wants to live "THE LIFE" and be rich.

happiness is overrated , you can't even define it for god's sake xD it varies from person to the next .
also people always link money to happiness and that's not the way to go .
money can be linked to freedom , and that's what internet marketer are looking for .

Is happiness also spamming the Making Money section with countless threads filled with drivel?

True, it's all about your personal choice.

Money would mean quitting 9-5 and that's enough to make me happier.

Now you runned by scarcity. Means you want to escape your problems.
Later you will be runned by abundance (which brings extra "drive" feeling). Means you already have a lifestyle that you want, but you still want to make money to keep improving your life :)

If what is making you unhappy is the stress of lack of money, then yes it probably will.

But if you are unhappy because of something else, then probably not.

I have been in both situations and I found more money just gives you more options, it does not necessarily make you more happy.

Rich people often talking that their lambo doesn't bring that much hapiness, because that car just get boring after few weeks haha. But if you see their message without making good amount of money, it's so hard to understand. So most people can understand this fact just when they achieve financial success, so they can experience that feeling. Until that, keep thinking that luxury things will make life briliant.

Reverse engineering: If being rich and having all you want doesn't make you happy, will poverty be the answer to your happiness? For me, definitely not!

Look, everyone that tells you money doesn't bring happiness is lying in my point of view.

Would it make you happy to have enough money to fulfill your basic needs? Well, in this case money made you happy.

Once you earn a specific amount (I think studies have shown it is around 5k+) everything above that will not make you any happier.

Real happiness comes from human connections. That's what a recent study has found (They had it running for 40 years or so).

I agree with that. You can have all the money in the world, but without any real connections, you're going to be miserable.
