Monetizing Leads from Travel Instagram

Hi BHW,

Tons of incredible information on here, so apologies if I've missed another forum covering this same topic.

I have an Instagram travel account with about 20k followers. I've found decent success monetizing shoutouts and recently setup a blog to try and capitalize off web traffic. But while growing this account, I've had tons of people reach out for travel help (ex: "can you help me and my friends book this hotel?" or "what do you recommend in Peru for November 10-18?").

I'd love to be able to send these leads to a travel agent or find some other way to package and sell them. On that note, has anyone on here found a way to monetize these requests? What other ideas might you have for these leads?

I'll keep experimenting and let y'all know if I find a compelling method. Thanks in advance for any help here!

If you already have a blog about travel and your followers ask you these kinds of questions, you can succeed! It's a hot traffic.

The best way in my opinion is to play with companies like Booking, Hotels.com etc, and get a commission when one of your followers book a stay via your link. 15% commission on several nights of hotels can bring back!

Most of these commissions sites haven't approved us, since our account is still too small. How large of an account do we need to start getting approved?

Unfortunately, I can not tell you the exact conditions. Normally a good blog with traffic should be enough, at least it was OK for one of my friends some time ago...
