Monetizing a decent sized IG Account with a blog

I have an animal instagram page that's growing at a great speed and was thinking about creating a blog based around animals and setting google adsense. Does anyone have experience with this? Worth the effort of making an effective site and constantly creating content?

My page is at 50,000 followers and averages 300-600 new followers a day
Photos get 4000-10,000 likes per photo

I'm estimating I will reach 100K within 2-3 months.
