advertise late night underground poker games.

run them from a hotel room.

you take 20% of all chip exchanges.

someone pays you $100 for chips, you give them $80 worth of chips.

if management complains, "i'm just having a nice game with some new friends i met at the bar."

Interesting idea... back in the day I was homeless and did exactly that in order to survive.

Walked in and just acted like I belonged there and had a guaranteed meal for the day.
 
I like your idea of cam girls. You can name your hotspot something like g-spot so they get curious. Then have some cam girl affiliate program going on. Make them prove their age as your home page, like a black screen and says, "The content contains nudity... to verify that you are over 18, please enter in your email address." Now you know these pervs are targeted to this niche and will make for some easy pickings later on when you email them. You can even do some adult friend finder affiliate stuff... think about it, a lot of these people are probably there on business and don't know anyone around, so if they think they can have a shot at a one nighter, they will probably go for it.

Yeah wicked idea. Just act like you belong to the hotel staff or something OR build good relations with the manager and you've got a 100% voucher on meals.

yes, i was thinking about promoting dating sites, too. or maybe call girls?! they are probably lonely business people who want some action for the night.

You need to visit the hotel and find out how wide the coverage is, do they restrict sites, how much does it costs, and how easy is it to connect.

You will have a hard time throwing a signal to the other side of the hotel but for doing nothing (once it is setup), you may make a few bucks.... until a fellow like you rents a room and thinks, "Hmmm, how can I monetize this guys IP. I know, I'll send email."
 
Sell contraband or learn to mix liquor or well the best way to get marketing ideas is to do research find out more about the hotel and let us know what it offers other than just a room.
 
Would be a lot of work/money to get going but you can have some underground online poker tables where they play against 4 or 5 fake, computer controlled players. This way there will be a good chance they will lose and they don't have to know their aren't real players.

that is way too ilegal and complicated... looking for more simple ways to make money of it. i would love to give free wifi and the customer has to unlock it with a cpa. if that was somehow possible, i think there would be some good money to make.

and of course i meant blackhaTTers not black haters...lol sorry for that!!!

Wow, that is amazing. It is strange to think of you as homeless, you've achieved so much :)

If I am homeless, I will now know what to do for a free meal :D
 
As long as you explain exactly what you are doing to your affilliate manager, they will most likely welcome the idea and accept that all signups are coming from the same IP address. Avoid making the whole thing (too) blackhat, as this will only work as long as some of your leads actually convert.

No matter what, you should ask people to enter their e-mail address before using your service. There is a lot of money to be made in lists, and depending on the type of hotel you live next to, the list might even be quite targeted for specific offers.

Some kind of adult entertainment is a great idea. If it is a family-friendly hotel they might begin to complain though. They can't really stop you, but they might try or at least be a pain in the ass.

Find out if the hotel offers adult content on the cable - if not, some of the customers might be tempted to connect to a network called "Adult Movie Streaming" or something ;) I bet you can find a good affilliate program with such a service. Again; just tell the AM exactly what you plan on doing, and they wont care. Especially not with offers where the customers actually pull out their credit card :)

It depends on how dirty you are...

Find some girls that work 100$ per night or something like that. Tell them that you will give them leads for a percent. Let's say 20$ per call.
Make a wireless hotspot that's called G-spot (somebody mentioned that already)
Make a start up screen with the girls and the number to call on to, write YOUR number.
After somebody calls you you just redirect the one to the girls and make profit.

that is a freakin great idea!!! if i just knew some hookers or pimps... but i really could see that work. i think i saw an affiliate programm for call girls somewhere before... love the idea!! thanks man...i might try this one out if i find the affiliate site...
there is also an whorehouse in that city. might talk to one of the girls, but it is kinda dangerous because these women most likely don't work for themself

also great idea with adult movies...camgirls would work the same i guess...
i don't know anything about list building and where to sell the list and for how much, but i guess there are some threads about that on this forum. is it really that profitiable. i don't think there will be like 1000 emails a month.
