So I've basically messaged a load of smallish alternative clothing companies on Instagram asking "Would you like me to do a paid promotion for your clothing?". One has replied back already, but there's some things I want to know first.

My followers will definitely be interested in some of the designs of these companies.

I get around 1000 - 1200 likes a photo. This is the first time I have tried to monetise however, so I would like to know:

How much money should I ask for to post a picture of me wearing the clothing?

Should I ask the company to first send me the t-shirt / hat / etc. and then pay me as well? Or am I being greedy?

Thanks for your opinions!

"How much money should I ask for to post a picture of me wearing the clothing?"

Nothing. You get the tshirt/Sweater/Jeans which is fair enough...
sell it later on if you dont Need it

$$ lol this is one good way really,if one is getting good profit posting images by you then he must have to give $$

So you are saying I should advertise for free?

They shouldn't give you anything, why would they?
Sending you clothes is enough.
If not, they can always just find more people willing to do it without paying.

I've done this a few times, and these clothing brands basically send me clothes and in return, I need to promote and model it.
I don't get paid any money, but in clothes.
