Well, as a newbie, you can't post urls. When you quote a post with url(s) in it, your post would contain the original post, url(s) included obviously and because you can't post urls at that user level, you can't post that post.
If the quote part of the post would be exempt of this rule, newbies could circumvent the system with altering the original post by adding url(s). Don't forget, that we're not a hand-knitting forum, but a blackhat internet marketing one, where people make their bread and butter from exploiting systems.

Haha Sounds Fair but what's with the 15 post-rule? It mentions that you need 15 posts to include links in your post but as you stated before - isn't it supposed to be 50 if no newbies are allowed to post links?

Lol I got that but I was asking about the red spoiler you get when you are just a Newbie and not a Newbie+, it mentions in there that "You need minimum 15 posts to include links in order to prevent spam"
My question is how is it 15 posts? Isn't it supposed to be 50 because you can only post the links once you are a Regular Member?
P.s. Excuse me if I am acting dumb, migrating from TBN to here has been hard
