& then when the comment has a certain amount of minus points it will hide the post by default, kinda like reddit.

It would remove a lot of the mods' work for sure. Could be nice, but it might undermine free expression to an extent.

As @BassTrackerBoats said, we had a negative rep feature at one point in time, but this was done away with due to the number of members abusing it as well as the potential for it to be abused further.
