Migrating my Wordpress Blog to another Hosting

You can do this yourself with a migration plugin like Duplicator. It is very easy but it will not migrate your email account. You would need to recreate them on the other end.

I finally used the instructions in this video and it worked perfectly...

If you are familiar with changing nameservers and moving installation directories and SQL databases, you can move it on your own and only need to pay for new hosting. Otherwise, you know what to do.

Duplicator free is usually all you need.

I use Duplicator to migrate sites
Although you can do this manually I feel that Duplicator takes care of many things like domain changes (which is not your case)
But if it's just the hosting, you can do it manually super-easy: dump your database, create a compressed file with all the files. And do the same in the new server. Not couting the transfer times, you can do this in 15 minutes. Without practice, maybe 1 hour to get you informed, but is good info to know for the future
If your time is much more expensive than $40 for 1 hour then just tell them to do it for you.
I second this ..duplicator is the best...it takes just couple a minute to duplicate your site exactly everything (database, files) ..and restore our site as it never been changed/moved..

Just make sure to turn off the plugins after you use it as it has security vulnerability

Its easy work. You can hire a freelancer and get it done at lower price. Even there are many wordpress plugins. You dont know how to take backup and upload.
