yep turned off that auto update. hated that threat of you need to schedule a re start crap. after that didnt freeze again. who knows what the hell they are putting in there
Have you tried shutting down the computer physically (with the button) and hittng F8/Shift+F8 (or whatever it is now) to enter safe mode and work from there? I'd imagine if you can do a system restore to an earlier point before you had the problem, you could monitor your computer to find out what caused the problem.Oh, i tried that many times. The funny thing was that windows wouldn't even let me update. Everytime i turned off the computer there was the "Update & Shut off" Button, but when i clicked it, it downloaded the update and when i turned on the computer the next day and the update was going to unpack itself on the start an error came "Windows update unsucessful"
