  • Skype is finally being shut down by Microsoft in May.
  • Users are encouraged to switch to using Teams for calls and chats.
  • Microsoft has been transitioning away from Skype towards Teams pretty much since Teams was introduced.

Skype was a game-changer back in the day, but I guess it was only a matter of time with Teams taking over. Feels a bit nostalgic, though.
 
I don't think no one was using skype at least any young boy, grown people don't know I think is better to go to rest less bloatware at the momento to install windows :D :D

true, I won't miss it for sure.
 
This is because Microsoft decided to replace it with Microsoft Teams.
 
Some people will miss it like we miss the msn messenger .
 
So, we don't loose files now in teams right?
 
I had so many good sales and so many scams over Skype. RIP.

I hope it isn't true because I use Skype the most for my projects and it will be difficult to work without Skype.
 
I'm sure most people didn't use it anyway. Now there are many platforms like discord, telegram and more. You can even get your work done through Google chat.
