Here?s a method I used a while ago. It?s been around and I can?t claim I?ve invented it, and don?t remember where I heard of it. I?ve used it successfully for a while then moved on to bigger, easier and more profitable things. You won?t get rich with it, but it can make you some decent money to start out in the cruel world of IM. I will tell you about the method including movies just for the explanation sake, as an example. But if you have any sense for marketing at all, you'll be able to twist it using soon-to -be released music albums, Iphones, mobile phones, games, whatever you can monetize Downside to this method ? you won?t be banking instantly. You?ll have to wait for a while, so if you need a quick buck better find something else and keep this as a sideproject. Or if you don't mind waiting a bit. The best part of it is that it?s super easy. You don?t need some previous knowledge; you don?t need to be a passionate movie fan. You just need to be proficient in English, and able to perform a simple search on Google. And I?ll spoonfeed you the rest. Time frame: ? 1 day for creating the site and the social accounts, youtube videos and web2 properties ? Depending on your ambition, anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours daily for spamming movie sites - The search engine traffic will hit you a bit later, so you'll need to wait about 6 months after you create your sites. Investment ? zero $, or if you want to speed things up 2-10$ per website for linkbuilding Monetizing ? adsense or CPA offers (email submit) Use banners for CPA offers, you'll find them HERE ? no content locking in my experience it won?t work -THE METHOD ? You can?t see the future, right? Wrong. You can see what the upcoming movies are. They will be rising in the future, but now they aren?t so popular and there are few sites mentioning them, except for the official site (and sometimes even the official site doesn?t exist until a few weeks before the opening night.) There?s your chance. Go to imdb.com and see what movies are coming in the next 6 months to one year. Choose a promising one, not too hype as this means fans are already making blogs about it. Just imagine what would happen if you had a blog about, let?s say Blair Witch Project before it went from obscurity to blockbuster. You?d have a headstart and everything posted after you wouldn?t be so successful. Of course, after a while when the big players come, your site will drop a bit in SEO ranking, but you?ll still be on the front page which is still great. 1 - Let?s say you chose ?The Bridge of Spies?, a new Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks movie. This is just a suggestion, it may be a bit too hard for a beginner, but just for argument sake we?ll suppose we chose it. A quick google search and seaquake shows us that the competition for this is not so hard yet. 2 - When you choose a movie, make a blog on the blogger with the name of the movie, let?s say bridgeofspiesmovie.blogspot.com, or buy a domain and connect it to blogger. Then do some basic seo, this won?t be too hard. Build 10 to web20 properties with 1-2 articles with links to your blog and a few weeks before the opening night blast some xrumer on them. You can find pretty cheap xrumer services and for 2 $ you can get 9K backlinks. Buy some cheap PBN links from the appropriate section of this forum if you want the best results. Don?t forget the onpage seo, create titles, subtitles, H1, h2, image descriptions with your keywords, submit and ping your site to search engines. 3 - Create a video on youtube with a link in the description and a link in the video overlay. Make sure you have ?trailer? in the title to attract the viewers (we assume that the real trailer won?t be out for a while). You can use some behind the scene footage and trivia about the actors, directors etc. Let the video look like a power point presentation. This ought to hit the front page for your search term really fast. 4 - Creata a facebook page, twitter account, instagram, pinterest board, a tumblr blog. Use addmefast to populate it to look legit. Then use ifttt.com to connect them to some news feed with the keyword ?bridge of the spies? as a trigger so every time the movie is mentioned the news gets published on your page-board-account or whatever. Manually add your site to the page-board-account. If you haven't used IFTTT yet google a little and find out how it's used. 5 - Create an account on imdb, rotten tomatoes, reddit (pay attention to comments on r/movies, it?s huge) and all movie forums you can find. You will need to do this only once. Then follow them and spam your link there to drive traffic to your site. If you have 10 sites about 10 movies you?ll have enough material to work with. To cut a long story short here's what to do: - Make a blogspot or self hosted site about a movie or some upcoming gadget, music album or game - Do some SEO for it, which won't be hard as the search term isn't too hot yet, but it will be - this will bring in valuable SEO traffic - Wait until a few weeks before the opening night or the release of the game and start spamming forums, facebook groups and reddit subreddits with a link to your site. This will bring in targeted direct traffic - Watch the money flow in Hope this helps someone.
