Method to Improve Scrapebox comment approval

I just got SB this week and I am confused to where I need to put these custom search terms. Every time I try to use the custom search terms I get 0 results from the harvester. I know I'm doing something wrong, could someone walk me through the harvesting process using the custom terms. I'd be much appreciative.

I really need help on this one, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Harvester works fine when I don't use custom terms. But when i use custom search terms (e.g. allintitle:keyword) I get 0 results from the harvester everytime.

I {think|reckon} I will {bookmark|save} this thread

I totally agree with OP..

im owner of 10 blogs. and the generic sh*t is just too obvious..
:P

regarding my comments.. when i don't want to spent too much writing specific comments like yours, i do a search for
ex. M Jackson.
scrape keywords

harvest

post comments like:

omg.. i still miss MJ a lot..
still can't believe his dead..

blah blah..

got the most acceptance rate..

you can do that with any celeb.. ;)

and you use any website as a backlink ?- I mean it doesnt amtter to bad if its about say weight lifting and the blog is on MJ ?

another good trick is to use addresses with gravavtar accounts and a amature / mnormal looking picture -- thatss a very good idea but not mine :cow04:

I got a question.

Do you guys put your website link directly inside the comment? or just put it on the URL field?

I usually enter comments like this.

"I love these themes, I have been searching for good themes for a long time, so glad I came accord these impressive themes, keep up the good work, also check out my themes website at "mylink"

Will this comment get deleted?

because sometimes i found out a lot of comments don't have URL fields.

Just got sb myself. Really like it, but this is exactly the type post I was looking for. Thank you very much

I think the short answer is no don't use url's in the comment field. Akismet and similar will treat your post as spam i guess.

Yes, I agree for sure. Stay away from the in-comment links unless you are sure they are auto-approve comments.

double post .... BHW keeps timing out on me :(

This is all very well but if you use the custom footprint intitle: the majority of the results won't be blogs so you can't comment on them....

Can you use intitle: and flilter only wordpress, movable type, blogengine blogs? now that would be interesting :pirate:

intitle:YOURKEYWORD "powered by wordpress" "leave a reply" "name (required)"

You can use this footprint to find wordpress blogs with open comments.

I was having a problem finding your RSS feed to subscribe Help?

I've had a lot of success by using inurl:keyword but after reading this will start trying intitle:keyword so I can start hitting Wordpress sites that don't use permalinks

I've also limited the depth of the scrape to the top 50 sites to maintain relevancy

Personally my favorite trick to achieve relevancy is to target trending phrases around sporting events and limit my scape to posts in the last few days.

During the NBA finals all my comments were statements like: I {love|hate|despise} the {Heat|Mavericks}
