OP, that looks incredible. I believe this is from Harry Potter. Is this your post?

What apps do you use with your store?

Can you name the apps?

The reason I didn't mention the apps I use because then everyone reading this will end up creating the same product page. Just choose which app you think best fits your need from the store.

Thank you for the share, but I feel you have completely brushed over the most important part of the entire method... The traffic source.

If setting up Facebook Ads was as easy as you made it seem in this paragraph, I think we'd all be multi-millionaires by now. FB Ads are notoriously difficult to promote on, even when you do everything right. I've had so many accounts banned trying to get ads running I've lost count.

Perhaps you could go into detail about this step a little more? Since I would assume you are going through multiple FB accounts?

I know I didn't put enough emphasis on FB ads as I plan to make a complete separate post for it as it's going to be huge. And yes of course I have multiple ad accounts.

When we are adding the shipping rates, do we add that for the United States (Domestic Shipping Zone) And the Rest Of World Shipping Zone? That's the only part that confuses me. And also, do we just keep "Standard Shipping" as the shipping name?

Since you will be only running your ads to US traffic just set it up with USA. And for shipping name you can name it anything you like.

And, how do you add the pounds on each product so Shopify automatically adds the correct shipping?

No more questions, everything else I understand. ;)

You will have an option when you add the product. And don't worry about it man. Ask anything you may need help with.

No it's not mine but I just wanted to give a rough idea of how successful this method can be.

OP, thank you for being honest. I think OP deserves much respects and gratitude from this community. This method works very well. I have done some research and honestly, selling "branded items" is more of a grey area and but like OP mentioned, its not a huge issue. IMO, try to stay away form Marvel / Disney (starwars / frozen etc)..

But doing it right like that in post shown is mind blowing. That page & site opened roughly on August 2 2016 and it just blew up .

Again, good guide & method, OP.

Anytime man.

Why didn't you answer my question?

Because your question was referred to the mods? Anyways I didn't post this method to brag about how much I make, this thread is to help people get started with shopify so I am not going to post any numbers.

Sorry that was meant to say OP, not mod. I posted it just before bed.

It's not about bragging, it's about results. I'd like to hear some numbers, which I'm sure other people would also like to hear.

I don't think anyone is going to call you a brag for sharing numbers, most people would be interested to hear them.

Are you from the countries which officially has Stripe Payments (Shopify Payments) or not?

If not then, How do you use this?

Because I know we can have EIN but Stripe is banning such accounts which are not from listed countries but still got EIN and using it.

Secondly, What do you use for receiving payments from Stripe?

Thirdly, Are you doing free plus shipping only or you do retail as well (selling products for a price regardless of shipping).

Fourth, Can you explain how to do email marketing and abandoned Cart thing with shopify? (email those who left the cart or who bought the product)

Thanks.

Yeah since you asked I make enough to enjoy the finer things in life. Hope that answers your question.

Yes my country supports Stripe payments. I am using payoneer to receive payments. There are several apps, just search for abandoned cart and you will find quite a few of them in the store.

Oh the buy button. You don't need any apps for that. Just follow the steps from here - https://help.shopify.com/manual/sell-online/buy-button/create-buy-button

And the button color code you are looking for is - #70CE66

Thank you for answering the previous questions mate. :)

@nihalsad
I'm up for drop-shipping for quite some time and this is actually first of all the methods that I've decided to follow up as its really well written and step by step... So I decided to give it a go just for a few days. You've really explained in step by step and extremely easy to follow for complete drop-shipping newbie. Thank you for that.

So I've done a bit of my own twists (as we all should do) and got few sales but I've ended up with a lot of abandoned checkouts page. And I mean A LOT. So I'm obviously doing something right and something wrong. :) Have you had issues like this one? Any suggestions on how to sort them out. :) I guess lowering price? Not offering product for free and then sticking up with paid shipping (that customers hate btw) but for reasonable price without free shipping? ANY ideas are welcome.

Also if anyone have any idea about different model of business I'm welcome to hear as I'm not much familiar with drop-shipping so any advice is welcome.

I am posting this just as I believe there may be some more guys having same issue so I'm looking forward to sort them out in this thread if possible.

Is it at all risky to drive traffic from an instagram or twitter niche fan page? For example, 1 in every 5 posts I make on the fan page, I post a picture/link of a product to my shopify store. Just wondering if this would raise any flags from those social platforms as I'm using a niche from a large, powerful brand.

@littlewebdragon I think it's pretty normal to have abandoned carts with this method, I assume adding some coupons in Shopify will increase the conversion rate. So the customer will need to add the coupon himself and he'll be able to get the product at 0$ only after this. Somehow I assume you should try this too. It's different when you have a coupon to get a product for free in the customer mind. How did you advertise your website? On facebook?

I like the idea of having coupon. I might try that and I'll get back with outcome. But having coupon code will still not rule out the fact that shipping is being paid that I think actually backs a lot of people off. I need to think it trough as well... Adding coupon will require users to take action that is for sure and it's worth of testing. And yes, I did FB ads.

Yes, you're right but should be somehow different for the customers to know that they have a coupon and not everyone have the option to buy that product for free. You should be able to create a better relationshop with the customers as you offer a promotion only for the ,,Lucky'' ones. It may worth a try.

I also like this idea. Makes it feel like they are the only ones getting this special deal and not everyone that visits the store.

Offering coupons would make it little more organic/realistic. I think it's good strategy.

I saw this method yesterday, just skimmed through it. Now I read it thoroughly and it seems awesome and I am going to try this now. I'm very impressed. This is my next project.

A few questions. I would really appreciate if you could answer these.

1. You say Shopify's subdomain works fine too. Don't you think it looks (A LOT) more professional to have your own domain? I think this might play a big role in conversions unless the visitor isn't tech savvy at all and thinks subdomain.shopify.com is actually your store's name. What do you think?

2. In addition to Aliexpress, would you recommend using other stores too? Such as alibaba, dhgate etc.

3. So the basic idea is make money with shipping costs (which is actually free on Aliexpress) and then try to upsell. Am I correct?

4. So far example, I get an order on my site for a product that I listed as free giveaway and set shipping charges at $10. I go to Aliexpress, buy the product for $5, give customer's address, choose free shipping. Tell the customer order is being shipped. And make a profit of $5. Is that correct?

5. A few other people asked too. What to do when someone tries to order multiple free products? So I set up fake item weights in a way so even if people are ordering multiple free items, I'm still earning from shipping costs.

6. Should I keep shipping costs different for paid items vs free give away items? If yes, please explain.

7. Do you recommend targeting only one country? Or selling our items worldwide?

8. Aliexpress' free items do not have shipping tracking. So what to say to buyers when they are paying $10 for shipping and they are not getting shipping tracking. How to convince them?
