You guys realize that this same exact method was posted last year and got like 100 pages. It's also a well known super saturated method.
There were no exact guides for this method, however there were several journey threads which is a completely different thing.
As far as shipping it seems like alot of Alliexpress shippers can get packages there in 2 weeks, depending on the shipping you use. I have a domain and a shop but still working on getting it all set up. So far it seems like the real work that sets someone apart in this is finding a good niche / product and a reliable selling on Alliexpress.
I do realize it is a popular method, dropshipping. But people like me are more inclined to try CPA methods and easy spam methods here, so its nice to have a new approach to things, I never was motivated to try dropshipping until now. Of course not all my eggs are in this basket.
Agreed.
Great job, I will try it this week. Just one questions tho. What about custums and import taxes & duties? I know there must be some of them when importing to EU countries and US too..
I haven't tried with EU countries but with US there hasn't been any tax issues.
Thanks for guide but how do I shipp items to buyers?
You order the items directly to the customers addresses.
Hey pal, thanks for the wonderful guide. I just have ONE quick question:
Could you go into more detail about how we should create our ads for facebook advertisement? Like should we include a picture of the product we are selling? Should we include the price in our facebook ad?
More details on constructing an effective facebook ad would be VERY MUCH appreciated.
Thanks.
You could include things like "free" on the ad image but for me what worked best was the red outline for catching attention but since you asked I will make another detailed post about setting up fb ads next week or so since I am a little busy this week.
I have read Shopify blog. They encourage drop shipping but they do prohibit anything that is copyright and though they don’t close down your store immediately, they remove your products and give you a chance. PayPal or even Stripe (payment for Shopify) wont accept these items either. This is from my experience.
Correct me if I am wrong. Does Shopify actually let you promote these type of toys?
Yes I would like a bit more information on this. One significant section of your guide is the Facebook Marketing, and to target the audience based on the interest. Facebook traffic is arguably the key is here. In your example the Totoro toy: this has already have established fan pages and interests. Won’t you run into trouble promoting this type of toy?
Whereas if you don’t promote something familiar/recognizable, it very difficult and expensive to promote to customers with an unknown toy/plush (like a cute elephant for example).
My questions:
How do you recommend promoting these type of items if they are not copyrighted?
Or do you recommend promoting copyright items (just take the risk) as way of generating traffic on to your site and just UPSELL / CROSS sale as you said?
Till this day I haven't had a single complaint for copyright. And for promoting higher priced products you will be surprised what people will buy when you choose your products properly.
I'm currently at adding products and i actually thing i might get somewhere, really interesting and i'm so glad u posted this!!
I've been standing still for 2-3 months with just lazyness.
Thank you!
All the best mate.
Just want to confirm, if someone bought an item on Shopify, I will have to manually order that product from aliexpress and just use the shipping address of the buyer from shopify right?
Yup thats the idea.
Thank you thank you! What are peoples thoughts on copyrighted brands? Are the drop shipping companies shipping your products responsible for that?
Don't worry about copyright issues.
Been working on this and following the guide exactly and have my shop set up with a few items and couple different ad campaigns. My campaigns have reached over 1k, are getting ~20 likes and ~5 shares, but hardly anyone is clicking on the link, any suggestions on getting more clicks?
How much is your ad spend so far? You have to optimize your ad/image or target audience. My suggestion is test with different variants.
