Sorry for my ignorance JohnsonDaniel. I have read your instructions a few times but seem to be stuck somewhere. I do not know what kind of code CLP generates but it looks like ht//****lock.info/clockdemo/locker.js?guid=74df*****b2d487 So i'm trying to replace this with my own content locker from C.P.A. L.E.A.D (just for the example) http://www.down*oads.info/wp-includes/js/raafq.js I got that from C.P.A.L.E.A.D. content locker generator. Generated that then uploaded the file to webhost and all it does after clicking "test" is wait for the timer to expire then i can click through to google. I should probably get CLP just don't have the funds atm. So what i have so far looks like this if you don't mind:
I have also made an html file that works(stand alone by going directly to the url) using the locker here:

its a .html file on my webhost not sure if i can even use a .html as your example is .js so i plug in the "free cpa gateway content locker" like:
So in other words the locker never pops up. If you can provide any tips or even point me in the correct direction it would really further my learning a great deal. I appreciate your great shares. Thanks
I know I'm doing something obviously stupid in the eyes of the more advanced users. But thanks for any help you can point me to. I will be studying your sample page and reviewing your instructions further.

(Edit) I see people are getting a guid. As i see in the comment I'm supposed to have this. When generating a content locker with C.P.A.L.E.A.D. with advanced setting on i get something similar to the .js used in the example. which i uploaded and plugged into the code. I don't know where to get the guid after some googling i found out it is used for tracking. So i'm guessing CLP generates this guid since i'm not seeing anywhere on C.P.A.L.E.A.D. to get this value. Please correct me if i'm wrong and maybe enlighten me. Thank you guys

Have been on a vacation and not visited this thread in quite some time.
Regarding some of the questions, most of which had already been answered in the early pages of this thread:
a) There are a million ways to create your "fake" page, not just photoshopping and slicing. Those which involve harder work are more genuine-looking. Easier ones are simple iframes, providing you iframe a site which doesn't bust out of them.
b) In CLP v2, there is a "redirect to Url" feature. Using it means the destination link cannot be seen within your fake page's source code, nor within the locker's source code. An update on implementation for CLP v2 users can be found in the CLP User's forum. This does NOT mean you can't work things in a similar way without CLP, just be creative when it comes to how you are linking.
c) Yep, forum banning is commonplace - but forums are not the only source of traffic on the net! Some creative thinking and using some of the ideas posted in the last couple of pages will help forum accounts last longer.
Will try and answer this thread more regularly in the coming weeks so, if you have questions, feel free to post.

Or you could have the page as an image clickable link (the whole page) and then have the content locker redirect to the real rapid share file download..

this seems like a really stupid question but i will still ask it ... why is this method better than just using some content lock network and offering the download link after completion of offer? .. the offers that one will use in the locker for this method will be from some CPA network right?

To all those who demanded this be moved immediately to the VIP section so as to not be ruined by the "spoonfed babies", mainly the one or two of you that went WAY out of your way to continue posting throughout thread, putting down noobs and yourself up on a pedestal to let it be known you belong to a different class than others with questions, did you read his original post? You may want to do so again (carefully) and see why he is sharing it in the first place. When he first joined had info like this be locked down to VIPs only, would he have been inspired to share this? It was his share, his choice to make it and for his reasoning which as he stated was to pay back for all the help he has received from those willing to help him along the way. That saddens me to see the attitude regarding the division of class shown in an otherwise awesome thread. Who cares how many other people's votes there are to move it, it wasn't his intention, same as he does not want the code taken, spun into an eBook and sold. Rep added and thank you kindly Sir for remembering your roots!!

The method doesn't rely on, nor need, ContentLockPro at all, and this has been stated several times in the thread.
However, users of CLP will find it easier to set up, and will earn more, because they can use multiple Networks, so they can spread their traffic and revenue, and they can do some other things which are included in CLP's functionality.
Mate, you "get it". You may be a newbie here but, with that attitude, I can see you going a long way on this forum - thanks!
Read my reply above. This can be used with any lockers, including those offered by Gateway Networks. The issue when using a locker provided by a Network is that you are restricted to sending ALL your traffic to them, and you're restricted to their offers, and their payouts.
As for TOS, I doubt this method will be in compliance with any Network's TOS, another reason to consider using your own self-hosted gateway, as you can then control referers and avoid the Network's finding out where you have placed your lockers.

You obviously have missed the main reason that most threads are moved to VIP for - and that is to prevent method saturation of something that really is 'that good'. Now I haven't run the actual statistics, so these numbers are strictly made up - but I'm guessing 99% of the threads that start in the public area stay there - and maybe 1% (if that) are moved to JrVIP. It basically happens when something is shared that really is different that can be replicated in smaller numbers without crushing the method - and therefore, it's moved. I'm not a mod, so I may not be phrasing the reason exactly as they would put it, but I'm sure you get the point.
When a thread is moved, it's about preserving a new or emerging method, or something that could easily be shut down by the target of such a method should they see it here.
And if you take offense to that - you have three choices:
1) Accept it because it's fair and the way things are done here
2) Become a Jr. VIP so you can still view the few that are moved
3) Become disgruntled and leave BHW
But seriously - a great share and something I'm going to look further into.

Just read his first post...and all the other posts and im sure you will understand.
Basically what you are doing is creating a webpage that looks like one of the filedownload sites pages.
Just one page...thats all you are creating. How you create that page is up to you and your skill level.
Then follow intructions and add the content locker with adds.
What this does is forces the user to click on your add before they can download the software.
Just READ the thread all the info is there.
Hope this simplifies things
