Very interesting thread.

I tried it today but i have a problem it's not possible for me to see the column estimated avg. cpc. When I click the button columns there's no estimated avg. cpc.

I'm not sure why this happens maybe this option is only available for English speaking countries ?

Hopefully someone can help me.

Thanks in advance.

Does it say anything about CPC at all? What about "Approximate CPC"? That's what I used.

Awesome Man.. Was thinking to find some new keywords for my new niches.. This helped me a lot ;)

Greatly appreciated this post. Found 5 really good keywords in about 15 minutes using this.

@ Sjors

When starting out, I would stay away from anything with more than 50K - 100K competition.... BUT that is me, that is still very competitive and you will need link wheels, high pr do follow links, article links, directory links and xrummer links to take on that sort of competition (all of those can be bought in the market place) .

Ideally you want to go after keywords that have less than 20K competition!

But then again if you find a keyword that gets 100K exact searches every month and the PR avg. , age avg. , link avg. is low, and the &start=990 show something like 15 page - 20 page then go after it, even if in "quotes" it says the competition like 1 million.....

SEO is hard to explain, its all about testing and finding out on your own what the best method is for you...!

Just take action and find out.... that is the best way to learn. You have more then enough info here to get you guys going.

20k in what sense? " xxxxx " search results for the keyword?

thanks for the clarification, jesus it seems like it will be hard to find those with a good # of searches per month

You can find keywords that get at least 1K exact searches and have less than 20K competition :)

Just keep diggin... use market samurai.

:croc:

Will do! Sofar I've just been using your method and TT. I need to find a free version of MS now

Thanks so much for posting this! Someone on Squidoo tried explaining it and I couldn't make heads or tails over what she was saying! This explained it perfectly! :D

Hey,
thanks for this tutorial, helped me alot as i'm absolutely new to adsense. Rep given!

I've a question. I've found a single keyword (not a phrase, is there a big difference?) now here are the figures about this keyword.

Monthly searches: 40.500
~CPC: 0,41€
intitle: 3020
inurl: 1390
inurl+intitle: 1350 results

Here the traffic travis analysis:

Code:
hxxp://img6.imagebanana.cOOOm/img/dbnw9mr8/ttreport.JPG
(You know what to replace)

As you can the the highest number of backlinks in the top ten is 296, the oldest pages age just 2 years old. Traffic travis says Realtively Easy, can i trust on this and start up to look for a domain name and make money? A domain with keyword.TLD isn't free :( Any other suggestions? Does keyword-online.TLD make the ranking too?

Thanks for your effort,
Zeu5
