I would suggest you get the group set up and focus on growing it indirectly. What I mean by that is I don't just promote my groups and tell people to join I just provide the link so they can.

Now that's the true capitalist spirit, buy low sell high. With alibaba its just about searching around and looking at the sellers feedback and how long they've been selling on there. Sometimes the cheapest of the prices are from brand new sellers that are too risky to take a chance with a large amount of money. I definitely wouldn't buy from the US on there since I've never seen them have any good prices. I personally have never had any trouble because I only buy authentic merchandise from the U.S. because I've been in this business since about 2006 so I've been able to establish myself with the true wholesalers for my categories.

Thanks, and yeah the popularity of these groups is what spark my business mind into action. Well with me I only sell authentic items because I already have an established wholesale business selling mostly things like, Clothing, shoes, suits, home appliances, bedding and others. What I've been selling on the FB groups as the test is bedding which has done really well in my area. But I am tempted to see how some of the 3rd party products from sites like alibaba and aliexpress might sell on there. Things like Gaming console controllers, headphones, mics, and even things like dirtbikes.

Hey anatho, you definitely don't need a big city cause I live in a town that still has farms. lol. With the sellers with no replies its because they aren't offering product that most people in that area want and thats where the testing come in. Remember you can do testing without actually spending any money on products. And also you have to remember that if its a busy group not everyone will see the posts which is why I boost my ads at least once a day if I'm busy but I try to do it several times a day. For me this took only seconds to figure out because I just tried to sell what the market already wanted. For me... 1. most of the comments are by women. 2. I noticed bedding was selling. and 3. I already know women pay lots of money for that stuff.

Well in all honesty it depends on what you are selling and how much you sell the item for. I tried this method before and in my case I didn't make a lot of money but then again I was selling cheap products. It's especially hard to get expensive brand name products for cheap wholesale prices. I mean technically you could sell knock offs like knock off coach bags, ipads, or even beats by dre headphones that have the company logos on them but that would be illegal and I know a few people who did this and got in a lot of legal trouble when their sellers found out and reported them so I wouldn't even recommend that.
I could buy the replica items that are miscellaneous brand and get them for cheap and not have to worry about any legal troubles since they are no brand no logo items but then they would probably sell for cheap or in my case I discovered not a lot of people were interested in my replica no brand no logo beats by dre lookalike headphones so I was stuck with a lot more product and not a lot of money. But none the less this method sounds good if you can find the right products to sell. I might have to try this one again sometime and sell better products.
