Come back to me when you've taken action and built a good working site. A few people have done so already and I'm trying my best to get them accepted by the company, they're so strict... And no man, they're very under the radar, not a 'mainstream' network.

It's not hosting the actual movie, or download -- which is good, but yes, networks don't enjoy this and especially hosts. I heard of people getting away with misleading content, using a TOS on the bottom of the website page, explaining that users/visitors *might* receive something different from intended, and using the site -- they agree to the terms.

this is what Ive seen as the biggest problem....I mean I cant do this pretty quickly but the thing is, there are tons of sites offering free movies.

Is WPMDb down? Yea i think they are down, the plugin is not posting and their site is slow just give it some time.

Also I got 6 views yesterday and 12 today with no indexing or backlinks so if you try to dive traffic i think you can.

This is not a method. it's just telling to use a Plugin that's all.

Everyone can create a website, 1% will earn from it.

Traffic is the key and most will fail becaue there is nothing about traffic in this method except Yahoo answers and "Buy SEO"

It sounds like a competitive niche, although, I suppose it depends on the site and the SEO, etc. I will try my luck and see how it works out.

If you're serious about doing this, then that wpmdb plugin is completely insufficient imo. You need to be scraping file sharing sites and getting actual download links. Otherwise people will go to your website looking for a file, see that it's just a spammy imdb clone and immediately leave. If you take the time to do it right and use actual download links then people are more likely to click your offers and may even share it and come back again.

It's a bit of a grey area. Hosting actual files is quite illegal and something you should avoid. You're better off branding your site as a search engine or a site with user submitted content (whether you actually accept user submitted content is up to you, just make it look legitimate). You should also comply with DMCA and have a way for users to report files. Be sure to actually remove any files that get reported. It's a good idea to look at what other sites are doing to stay compliant and mimic them.

Straight content locking is usually not the best way to do it. It's often better to convince users they need a "codec" to play the files. Or convince users into downloading some "sponsored" files. Again look at what other sites are doing for inspiration.


Also creating the website itself is relatively easy. The hardest and most important part is always getting the traffic which wasn't really covered in the OP. It's certainly a viable method but you'll need think for yourself in order to get the traffic to make this work.
